"had" Neck problems, muscles tight etc making difficult to turn my head. the books simple excercises helped me make quite a turnaround, with NO pain. one, I like real well, is the easy neck excercise which I do several times a day keeping my neck feeling and working real smooth. Love this book because I feel results right away. a friend bet me a lunch that if I purchased this book I would be VERY VERY happy because it would be so easy to use. he was right and I'm tickled to buy his lunch.

I am far from a couch potato but I also am not that much into exercise. I got this Kindle book as I thought to myself that if Seniors could do it, than so could I.
This excercise program is great! I don't think any of us realize how much flexibility we are gradually losing as we age. This made me aware of that fact the very first time I tried them.
I usually work morning till night and am on my feet 12 to 14 or more hours. I carry heavy stuff around and it's usually rush, rush, rush. I am definitely not sedentary and I once put on a pedometer for a week to figure out how much I walked and climbed stairs. I averaged about 5 miles a day.
But the constant moving around did not factor in the gradual stiffening of my joints and tendons as I did not bend or stretch or twist and turn my body as the day wore on. And work is not exercise. I found that out when I did the minimum number of repetitions of each of the exercises listed.
I was so out of shape that my joints were popping and painful. Wow! What a wake-up call.
I am now doing them at least once a day and regaining some of my flexibility back. ( In fact, there is a section in the book devoted to explaining how you can continue to make this exercise series an essential part of your day.) They are very low impact so there is no additional stress.
This is a definite must add to your regimen whether you are a semi-couch potato or a person who regularly indulges in any form of training. And they are a great set of warm-ups or stretching work-outs for those more seriously into improving their health.
You should make this a regular part of your life. It is worth the time and effort.

I am in my mid 30's and picked up this book for some stretching exercises, as I previously had no exercise routine. I am overweight (technically I am obese) and have bad knees so it is hard for me to find exercises to stick with because of the knee pain and my weight. The exercises in this book are so simple that you can do all of them sitting down (or standing up), so really these exercises can be done by ANYONE. Doing the exercises in this book has strengthened my body and given me inspiration to do more, even if it is just small steps. I do my "simple circles" every single day, and with the inspiration this book has given me I have worked my way up to doing daily exercise with dumbbells and even some light cardio. This book has made my body stronger when I thought there was no hope left and it is also helping me loose weight because it makes me get up and move everyday, which I mentioned before has now turned into an exercise routine for me. I could not have gotten this far without this book. It is great for all ages, even kids love to do it. This is a great book for seniors or anyone that needs help getting started exercising. Oh and last but not least, doing the exercises makes me feel INCREDABLE! I physically feel great after doing them and I have more energy each day because of these exercises. The benefits are obvious to me now.

This is a small book with with 41 pages. When I first read the book I was thinking I was beyond the exercise in this book. When I did decide to do them I really like them. I have started a routine where I use some of the upper exercises when I'm walking.
For people that hasn't been active, I think this is a good book to start out with. It's simple circles which helps range of motion. It's a good book.

At 77, I'm just at the point where unless I exercise regularly, I'll just get slower and slower. I've been looking
for a group of movements that felt good to do. Otherwise, it would just be one more discarded system.
Howie Bell's program does feel good as I do it. I'm at an early stage. It will be interesting to see how I
progress.

No matter your age, you need to get this book if you are the least bit unsure, or want to know, that your joints are as flexible and as strong as you think they are. To my chagrin, one session of the Circles program proved otherwise. So much for thinking that office-, house-, and yard-work is sufficient exercise to help avoid joint sprains and breaks. As others have noted, you can do these exercises anywhere, at any time, and at a pace that suits you. For goodness sake, you can do Circles when you sit and watch TV!. As another said, "No excuses!."

As I was reading the benefits of exercise as we age, I began thinking that was all this book was going to be. I than came upon the exercises and the plan in which to do them, great easy to do to keep those body parts moving! I especially liked the weekly plans to print at the end.
