Directions

Heavy Cleaner: Dilute 1 part Simple Green to 1-to-10 parts water.
Light Cleaning: Dilute 1 Part Simple Green to 30 parts water.
Spot test on hidden area.
Apply solution.
Scrub if necessary.
Damp wipe, or rinse clean.
Note: Do not use on instrument panels, unfinished wood, leather, suede, opals or pearls.
Washing Machine: Add 1/4 cup to water and detergent filled with washtub.
Spots/Stains: Wet fabric or carpet with water. Pull out Foaming Spray Tip and spray 1:1 solution

Simple green, in a few simple facts:

It's GREEN: This describes its color, not being 'Green' like good for the earth. Much to the contrary, this stuff is poison. It might even cause your top layer of skin to come off.

It's wicked effective: Grease, stains, chemicals, brake fluid, motor oil, grill grease... all dissolve to nothing when this is applied. I've never used a cleaning product - of any kind - that has remotely close to the power this does to break up anything and everything. It's like cleaning napalm. Nothing stands a chance.

Their new nozzle is very limp. Spray it and see if 'limp' isn't what you think of. The old one is better, change it back.

The fact it's 'concentrated' means little when it's in a spray bottle. It does go a long way, but this is just marketing hype.

We got a dog, and I started caring a lot more about the toxicity of our household cleansers. A friend who works in animal research recommended this stuff, and I've been using it ever since. I got a big spray bottle from a home improvement store and make a dilution of this stuff. One part simple green to about five or six parts water. I find that makes it much milder on the nose while not significantly compromising its cleaning power. I do not use this stuff at full strength unless I have a really nasty mess.

I know people who apparently use this as laundry detergent and all manner of things. I stick with just using it as a household cleanser and surface cleaner. I won't order it from Amazon anymore, though, because the bottle I got was leaking all over the place. Granted, anything it leaked onto only got cleaner (ha ha), but I lost a substantial amount of the product to this leakage.

This stuff is STRONG in cleaning power and smell. The installer for our glass shower recommended this product to prevent soap scum and mildew buildup. For the glass shower, we dilute one part Simple Green solution with one part water. We use it on the glass panel every other week and they look great so far. I also use this to clean literally everything from shower tiles to kitchen sinks. We also have a Blue Star range with cast iron burners that get really greasy. I pour one cup of Simple Green into the kitchen sick, fill it with water and soak the cast iron in the solution. Soaking the cast iron in this product really breaks up the grease.

I have used this product for years. I works well. I use it diluted for sponge moping wood floors that have been covered with polyurethane. I use it straight to clean paint brushes and prespot oil/grease on cloths. I like that it does not make many suds but still seems to clean well. Maybe when I see suds it is from previous cleaners that didn't rinse out?

As time goes by I am using this for more and more items, while I am using Fantastic less.
Sometime I am cautious that that it might be to strong. But I haven't seen a problem yet.

Simple Green, not only does it clean everything and I mean, everything from jewelry to the kitchen sink squeaky clean; it works to get rid of Ants too! On a tip from my sister I used Simple Green to eradicate a persistent and never ending ant invasion in my kitchen. Not only did it kill them on contact (something about altering the viscosity of their exoskeleton...) but it eliminated their scent trails and their return like no bug spray natural or otherwise has been able to do. They have not been back! I confess to scrubbing the whole kitchen and mopping with the stuff but I am a convert!

Simple Green is a good quality, strong cleaner. I used it for general cleaning around the garage, including my bicycle chain. Simple Green cleans and degreases the built up soot quite well. I am pleased with the product and the price. The packaging was good, as the bottle was enclosed in plastic, then boxed. However, when I removed the plastic and inspected the bottle, I found the sprayer was loose and had been leaking. After wiping the bottle down and tightening the sprayer, it works fine. The shipper was likely not very careful with the package.

I've been using Simple Green for years to clean my bathroom sinks and counters. I like the fact it's nonhazardous and biodergradble. I have two working solutions at home, one that is diluted for everyday cleans and the concentrated one I keep for more difficult cleans. The solution has smells reminiscent of coke, but cleaning power of your kitchen and bathroom cleaners. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone that wants a safe cleaning product. The only draw back is that it doesn't work well on glass surfaces leaving streaks.
