The author did an outstanding job of creating a safe place for teens to get in touch with and process their emotions in a positive environment. I would suggest this book for teens, their parents, or anyone that is tired of their negative emotions running their lives.

"5 Simple Questions to Reclaim Your Happiness is a short and quick self-help book, but lives up to its genre and gives the reader the tools they need to help themselves - and it certainly pays off." Authors Talk About It
5 Simple Questions to Reclaim Your Happiness, by Jacqui Letran, is a short read containing simple wisdom to help lead a happier life. The approach provided in this book is anchored in the Universal law of positive thinking and the other law, not as well known, that what you put your attention on becomes bigger, or in other words, when you focus on negative feelings and thoughts, you empower them and you depower yourself and you steal from your happiness. This book is an easy to read manual, which can be handed to anyone from young teen and up. Even if one lacked the discipline to do everything suggested in this book, and only adopted some of its wisdom, it would be impossible not to feel better about oneself, about life and about the prospects of an even brighter future. It's a worthwhile investment in oneself. International Writers Inspiring Change

While aimed at teens - and mainly at mothers and daughters, I think this book is useful with preteens - perhaps reading the book with a parent or teacher and discussing the 5 steps. As a former teacher, I would recommend this book to parents - and kids - because it teaches life skills in understanding and getting along with people. And as an author of self-help books for women, i know I am going to be referencing this book and Ms. Letran's smart, simple way to help anyone step back, take a breath, and gain some clarity on what they're feeling and what they want - and need - to say, and why. An excellent book, recommended to anyone who wants better conversations - and happier outcomes!
The main purpose of this book is to help the reader come to terms with their own thoughts and emotions and the five step process (outlined and shown through case histories in great detail) is easy to learn and adapt to.
I found this book very helpful and will continue to use the five step method for a good while. It's not a quick-fix solution to letting go of negative emotions and gaining more happiness, but it does work and you'll begin to see results immediately.
Much praise to the author!
This book is meant to be a simple, 5 steps for better relationships and happiness. The steps are simple and I could see how this could be helpful for some who like these kinds of books, so I rated it at 4 stars because I could see how this book helping people. My personal preference is still to drive to my therapists office and just talk everything out in the allotted time provided
It is a lot shorter than i thought. She got through it in two sittings. And the exercises wile good are short too

What shocked me most though was how clearly I can identify to it as a mum of these children who has similar reactions with my mood.
