It's Not The Seller or Item's Fault

Even though the pans I own do not fit this item well At All, I'm still giving it 5 stars, because it's not the items fault. I should have paid closer attention to the photos, in which they use the more flat style pans which I always thought were Skillets, but maybe I'm confused or maybe the item title needs to be changed to skillet, I don't know, but as you will see in my photos, what I own and thought were pans, do not fit, well one (somehow) fits, but the one simply laying in front, well it's obviously laying there for a reason lol. All and all, I don't like it when other people review a product and give it bad ratings simply because they overlooked something or it didn't work "perfectly" for them, People..."that" does not make a product garbage or bad for someone else. If you purchased an office chair and you give it ONE star because it doesn't roll right for you, but the truth of the matter is, you have Carpet, well guess what??? That chair will roll just fine on a smoother, flatter floor like it was "meant to" and it's not the seller's fault you did not take that into consideration people. Goodness lol. Anyway, it's an easy fix for me, I'll just buy New Pans/Skillet whatever that fit and be good to go. Take that in to consideration if you're considering this, because, if your Pan/Skillet fits, then you're good. This thing is Sturdy. Built Well. and doesn't wobble. Yup, 5 Stars regardless of my own pan/skillet issue.

Well made but limited usefulness - large pans won't fit

I bought one each of this pan stacker and the Grayline one (Grayline 40207, Frying Pan Sorter, Black).

Both are plenty sturdy enough for the job, although the Grayline one is the sturdier of the two. I think it's just a slightly heavier gauge of metal, and also the SimpleHousewares one comes in two sections that you screw together, whereas the Grayline one is all one piece.

On the other hand, the SimpleHousewares one probably offers a little more protection to your countertop or whatever surface you're putting it on -- its feet are kind of plastic capped, whereas the Grayline one is all coated metal. (Although it's NOT as if the Grayline one has rough edge or anything.)

For about 2/3 of the price for essentially a sturdier version of the same thing, I would definitely rate the Grayline as the better buy of the two.

However -- and this is a big "however" -- neither of them has enough clearance to hold a frying pan of any real depth at all, much less a wok-style frying pan. I was afraid that this would be the case and, sure enough, it is. So they're both pretty much useless for their intended purpose. They work reasonably well for baking pans, though, when laid horizontally on their backs. (Not that they actually save any space, mind you, but it's a bit easier to grab something when it's not stacked. They'll probably work okay for pan lids, too, although I don't think I'd buy one for that purpose -- more of a "Well, now we have this, can we find something to use it for?" situation.

I was tired of stacking my frying pans on top of each other and was looking for something to both organize my pans and give me easy access to them. Before this organizer, I would have to unstack several pans in order to get to the middle pan that I needed. Now, I can just reach in and immediately get the frying pan that I need without having to unstack. The quality of this organizer is pretty good.

I absolutely love this. The rack came in two separate pieces. When put together it was too tall for my cabinet, so I left the pieces separate and it worked out great. Frying pans one rack; sauté pans on another. I would definitely purchase again.

This product is great, in theory, but didn't quite work the way I had hoped. It says that it can be screwed in place, but that is only true if it is standing upright as opposed to using it as pan dividers on it's side. I also checked the measurements to make sure my deeper skillet would fit, but once assembled I could not get the skillet in. I had to leave out the screw that hold the 2 parts of this item together so that I could adjust the size of the middle space a little bigger to accommodate the pan.

After the few adjustments I had to make to get it to hold what I needed the item works just fine. And it is definitely a great space saving item. I would highly recommend researching and measuring everything twice before purchasing though.

Compact, Convenient, no more digging in cupboard

Just received this rack (with all its parts and pieces) and really happy with the rack's color, strength, compact size, ease of assembly. Bummed I can't get my monster saute in it too, but I knew before ordering it wasn't going to fit based on reading questions/reviews so no surprise, no issue. Will add some photos, and I would recommend it for keeping normal sized sauté pans / lids organized, protected, and within arms reach. I was tired of bending over and digging around in the oven drawer to lift up the smaller ones and pull out the larger one I wanted at the bottom without clanging them around together. This should help!

I ordered 2 after reading the reviews. I actually got an email from Yummly.com on 9/7 with Fall kitchen finds, and this was featured for organization.
Our "stacked" pans were getting annoying....and heavy to keep moving, plus I had all the lids. I had a smaller item like this that I used for lids, but it wasn't working in that area. I got my racks on 9/9. I put our most used pans on one, with the deeper skillet on top. Perfect! Then the second one in the less used area of the cabinet for my stainless steel pans, plus my Pampered Chef grill pan on top. Perfect again. I used the smaller one for the lids and my cabinet looks and functions great! So happy I saw this! It has made our lives so much easier! I did not attach to the cabinet. It stands perfectly fine.
