Well honestly, I am not a fan of pepper and can only go by what my son said about the flavor (he loved it) but I am very happy with the appearrance of this beautiful pepper in my clear glass peppermill. I wanted something different, and attractive, and this fit the bill. It wasn't expensive either, but ironically enough I didn't read the complete description... it comes with its own grinding lid, which works really well and it rather attractive itself. So no worries if you don't have a grinder yourself... this works very well!!

Did you get enough sleep today? Good. I hope you are well and that rash cleared up.

I'm writing to you today about that pepper grinder I bought. It works great and the pepper tastes good and spicy! It has a fancy top that grinds the pepper and you can optionally catch it in the attached lid to transport to another vessel of your choice. By cleverly pulling out or pushing in the grinder attachment, you can make courser or finer grinds.

I like this brand, but I'm also a bit concerned about 'inorganic' pepper? More to the point, I didn't know there was such a thing!

The built in grinder is surprisingly great...although can't adjust the grind, I've been using this for everything ever since I got it...not too fine or coarse, perfect for salads, or any food whether for cooking or to grind on top of a dish. The flavor is very good as well. Highly recommend! My pepper shakers may go unused 99% of the time since discovering this product.

Took off one star because the lid interferes with easy, quick use so very, very badly. The tightly sealed lid has no extra lip/handle to get your nail under for leverage so you have to wiggle around multiple points to remove it each and every time you use it. The grinder itself is also not great - pepper bits come out very slowly despite how furiously I crank the damn thing.

I've never bought a Simply Organic grinder before, so I have no idea whether mine is just defective or if they're all like this. The pepper itself is pretty good if on the stale/mild side (look, to be honest each time I've used this for eggs I get too impatient to get as much pepper out as I'd like because it grinds so very little with each turn of the grinder head, so I honestly I don't know if it's just that everything gets underseasoned by default or if it's just stale), but I won't be repurchasing because the lid alone makes every cooking session an ordeal in frustration.

I use a lot of pepper in my cooking and this is a delightful blend of black, white, and green peppercorns. The flavor is not overpoweringly hot; the white and green peppercorns help balance the heat, but I most definitely like the "clean" flavor of these organic peppercorns. The oils released when grinding seem to have a fresher flavor than regular store-bought black peppercorns (which, in my area at least, have gotten outrageously expensive for some reason).

This was the right answer for me; the bottle has a built-in grinder and the large square surface is easy to grip, even with damp hands. Push in while turning for a finer grind; pull out slightly while grinding for a courser grind. Delicious & a great value when ordered through Amazon's Subscribe & Save program; try it, I think you'll love it!
