I can only compare this spice to actual french Herbs De Provence. My first observation is that there are lots of small hard stocks that will not soften during the cooking. Second, comparing the two, there is a strong overpowering oder of oregano and very little lavender. Luckily I have some food grade lavender and a spice grinder to make this spice usable. Unfortunately I don't have a product to recommend since my French Herbs De Provence is no longer available. I guess I will be searching for an authentic recipe and just create my own.
