Portioned controlled snack with healthier ingredients, but tastes like potato chips, not hummus

The Simply 7 Gluten Free seem such a nice idea (based on `super` foods as quinoa, chickpea, kale, lentil), but given the taste, smell and the nutritional profile (2g of protein for the hummus chips, when chickpeas usually have a decent amount of protein) I can only assume they are bulked up with starches.
The ingredient list is quite clean and simple (chickpea and rice flour, potato starch, oil, sugar and salt, spices), which might seem great. But the potato gives the main flavor for this chips. There is also a specific dryness due to the rice flour (if you tried rice based chips you might be familiar to the dry texture). I could barely tell that chickpeas might be in the mix.
You can add an egg or cheese stick for a better snack, since protein is so low, but they're nothing beyond regular potato chips.
I do appreciate that these chips come in portioned snack packs, very practical on the go, portioned controlled (~130 calories is a decent snack size). Most chips are whole, with some broken pieces.

-> Hummus Sea Salt: The `bowl` shape makes these crunchy and cry chips great for dipping. The taste doesn't remind me anything of hummus, they taste just as plain potato chips. The dehydrated onion and garlic were so mild in flavor, I could barely distinguish them.

*Note: I tried some of the flavors with the Amazon sampling program, which was a great opportunity to try these chips without buying a large amount of bags.

I've been eating these for a while. They are a great low carb alternative since I have to cut carbs and sugar. They are great with dips. Not quite a chip and not a tortilla chip or cracker. The texture is good, I just prefer more salt or flavor if eating without a dip, but great with.

These are amazing! I was looking for a healthy snack that tasted good and decided to try these in Sea Salt flavor when they were a lightning deal. Well, I wasn't disappointed. These don't taste "healthy" (i.e. bland and tasteless). On the contrary, these are full of flavor with a hint of sea salt. I tried these with salsa as well as a couple of dips and loved them! If you're looking for a healthy snack that is not greasy / packed with artificial flavor, try these. Recommended.

I found this on Amazon, and since I like hummus,and the ingredients were all natural, I thought I'd try them. They are actually quite good. I don't taste a strong hummus taste, but they are crispy and just salty enough. The shape is like a little scoop or bowl, just perfect for dips & hummus. They have a texture that is similar to "bugles", if you've ever had them. All in all I really liked them, not a lot of flavor, but still good. I'd like to try the dill, but for some reason they ost $8 more a box.
