After three weeks of owning this machine I have gotten a lot of practice in and my confidence as a seamstress has allowed me to embark on sewing challenges I never thought I would take on. I found myself sewing sleeves back into shirts, and even tried sewing with some leather scraps I had laying around to make a leather peplum. The included 16/100 needle handled the leather beautifully, and even sewed a double layer although I wouldn't chance sewing heavy upholstery leathers with this machine.
The automatic needle threader worked great for me though some people have trouble with it I guess.
Some things to note:
This machine is a hefty gal. Though it has a very strong and functional handle, unless you remove the extension table you aren't going to be lugging it very far very easily. I was surprised at first by just how big it was, but this ends up being a plus because this machine stays put unlike other machines I've had that would practically jump off the table while I was sewing.
Keep your manual close by. It is your second best friend other than the machine itself. I find myself flipping through it constantly to read the very helpful and clear instructions. It helps to know what needle you should be using for the fabric you want to sew.
All in all I love this machine feel extremely satisfied with my purchase.
Love the pedal plugging in like it does, I can unplug it and put it up out of the puppies reach when I am done. Love how simple and easy to use it is too. and I LOVE the long table on it. Its the perfect machine !
I love the look this has and how it sews. I do a lot of sewing for myself and my grandkids, so this sewing machine has been put to the test. I have not had any problems with it and love sewing on it.
I love the automatic threader. The stitches are perfect and have not experienced any problems with it.
