There wasn't anything I particularly loved about this book. It wasn't bad, just nothing really stands out.
What I Didn't Like:
I didn't feel connected to the characters at all. It was erotic, yes, but it would have been more so if we'd been given more time to get to know the characters.
My Overall Review:
This book is about 11 pages long, 20 pageturns if you are reading a Kindle at a small-sized font. That being said, I have read other short stories within erotica and they all had some decent plotset-ups, so I don't hold this lack-of-plot or character connection as understandable. Is it difficult to make readers connect to characters in so little time? Yes- but it can be done. Besides, while the words themselves evoke sexual connotations, true eroticism happens when a reader is intimately connected to the characters engaging in the sexual acts.
That being said, if you are looking for an erotic paranormal story just to get turned on, this might be your book. If you like substance and character development- skip it.
This book was provided for me at no charge, nor was I given compensation
of any kind for this review. This review only reflects my personal opinion.
The second part of the beginning built the story up nicely, Brooding vampire slayer, taking on a new mission, while kicking it in a dirty old bar.
And to be honest, that bar scene was the only part of the story worth remember. Everything else just seemed like a mash up, very confusing, And even a bit frustrating.
Not high on my list of recommends, but really, only the reader can decide. Get while it's free, I always say.

Great short story with a lot of description involved. Would have liked to have read more but that is why they are called short stories.

A quick romp between vampire and slayer. There really isn't much story here. But I enjoyed the straight to the point of this one.Published on June 2, 2013 by Karen Sherratt
