I came up with this idea of Sisterly by the grace of God blessing me with two sisters who I admire, each for her own unique reason and personality. Sure,we have our moments of disagreements, but I share a sameness of some sort with both of them in the entirety. Before my mother in law passed away, I watched her two sisters care for her in her final days. The care and closeness Iwatched between them made me see and appreciate the importance of my own sisters.
Although this story is a story of its own, it brought out something in me that I honestly cannot imagine not having--gratefulness for the important bond my sisters and I share. You know how as we grow, we may say or do something that reminds us of being like our mother? That is also true for me with my sisters, possibly because I was the youngest sibling. I am a blend of both of my sisters. A mixture of some of their good qualities as well as some of their stubborn qualities. Without my sisters, I would have never become the person I am today.
In this fictional story, Sisterly, I was able to get that samemetaphorical idea into words. As I said before, this story took on a life of its own. And I hope it will continue to live on for you just as it has for me--with a greater appreciation of my SISTERS. I love you both.
