I like the story but it is WAY over priced! Essentially you are paying $2.99 for a 95 page novella. The first installment was short but free like many author samples given to get you hooked on their series. I loved the first one and was anxious for the release of this title. Knowing the first was short, when I downloaded the second this morning I purposely looked for the number of pages and it was not listed. I should have taken that as a red flag that it was going to be short. However, I chose to give the author the benefit of the doubt thinking that they would not overcharge their readers. I sure was wrong. Good story but definitely not worth $2.99 per installment. If she continues to release them in short increments and charge the rate of $2.99 each, her readers will be paying approximately $18.00 for 700 Pages. In my opinion, she is taking advantage of her readers and I will not pay $2.99 for each novella in this series when there are many other worthwhile titles that give way more for the money. If you like MC stories, Madeline Sheehan's Undeniable series is jaw dropping fantastic and you totally get your monies worth with her books. I also have to say, I don't think I've ever left an author a bad review and the only reason I am leaving this one is because of the price.

I read the first book which I thought was pretty good so when I heard of the second I thought why not.

Utter disappointment, the story was way too short. She has sex, she gets stabbed and kills another brother is pretty much what the book was about and there will be third released in March...

note to author.....

instead of writing novellas on each brother she kills you can easily could have made this into a 3 part series of life before she supposedly died, life of her being reborn and taking her revenge and then saving Dornan for the last and having her happy ending or whatever you plan on making it out to be.

I am guessing it's one dead brother per book which is something I don't see myself keeping up with. there are plenty of well written mc NOVELS that I would rather purchase and won't have to spend x amount of money just to get a short thrill.

I liked the first book and kept an eye out for the second book to be released. Extremely short and not worth 2.99. I thought the series had an interesting premise but the killing a brother a book is getting old fast and I didn't find the death of brother number 2, too creative. On the story alone - I would have given it 3 stars but 2.99 for a book you can finish reading in an hour is ridiculous.

Let me start off by saying I never give poor reviews. I read the first book, and thought it was pretty good. The premise was interesting. The writing started off as really stilted and jumbled - as though the author couldn't quite find a place to put all her ideas in the pages she'd allowed for them - but towards the end it had improved substantially. Without being a hypocrite, I enjoyed the book enough to be willing to pay for the next installment. It was good enough that I was willing to purchase the next installment (I knew that this book wouldn't be free like the first one).

Here is why I didn't. PRICE. I refuse to pay $3 for an 90 page NOVELLA installment. If the author continues to chart $3 an installment, you'd end up paying $18 for the entire series! Well known authors with established fan bases don't charge that much for entire NOVELS, let alone novellas under 100 pages. Who is this author kidding? I may have entertained the cost, if the writing were brilliant, but it's not.
Generally:
The plot development is clunky
There is virtually no character development.
The overall writing is predicable - you know what's going to happen, so why doesn't the author make it interesting?

I think this author and this series have brilliant potential. But it needs a lot of work - and a lot more development - before anyone should be made to pay $18 for it.

I would suggest only $3 for the entire series. Without substantial work, that's all it's worth. And that's being generous.

I loved the first book of this series but this follow-up fell a little short for me. The beginning was really slow and didn't start getting good until almost 70% into the book. I don't understand why Jase would want sloppy seconds. Hope the author doesn't keep her with Dornan through the whole series. Having your dad's woman is just gross.

OMG, I cant tell you how freaking excited I was getting this book. I got it in the morning and couldn't wait till I could read it when the kids were in bed. It was like having a present that you can see all wrapped, and your dying to know what's inside... torture right....

I read this in one go. I do have to tell you though there was lots of gasps, hiding behind my hands, OMG no, arhhs and lots of shouting at Sammi. I wanted to get Sammi and shake her. This book has it all.

So the important thing is what can I tell you without giving it away............

OK..... you guys know I don't do spoilers... that's NEVER going to change. So for anyone who hasn't read Seven Sons, Go and read it now, It's currently free on Amazon.

OK.... got distracted... this book does that to you. Right, so. We know that Sammi is on her own mission after what Dornan did to her father and what him and his sons did to her, she has the scars to prove it. Her Mission - to kill Dornan's Sons (except Jase) to make him suffer before she kills him.

Jase... Jase is the one Brother who never took part in what his brothers did to Sammi. He loved her and She love him. Only they killed her.... Or they think they did.

She has one friend who knows everything Elliot. Elliot was the cop who got her out of the hospital and somewhere she wouldn't be found. Elliot's now got a tattoo shop and is close by for Sammi.

In Six Brother's Sammi is still trying to get to Dornan. They go to his Eldest Son's funeral. And Sammi's trying to decide who she is going to go after next, when a situation presents it's self. Sammi put her self in all kinds of danger in this book. And you see the nasty side of Dornan we haven't seen yet.
