What I didn't realize until I began to use this is that your invasive spy mechanism masquerading as a portable computer/phone would try so hard to engage in spying and report on you that it would kill the phone battery in no time. Turn your phone completely off before putting it inside if you don't want your battery to lose all juice in a jiffy.

This thing works! I was somewhat skeptical, but when I bought a 2018 vehicle with an always on pair of key fobs, I also got nervous. If the bad guys can use a booster to increase effective range of the devices to 350 feet, keeping the fobs at the furthest point away from the vehicle as I can get in my house, doesn't do any good.

I put a fob in the pouch, sealed the Velcro, and walked up to the driver door, within a few inches. The door would not unlock. Same thing at the tailgate. BTW, if you unseal the pouch, the signal will get through even while still in the pouch.

From now on, both fobs will be placed into this pouch whenever I am at home.

Formerly i had written a pretty unhappy review of this item, because my phone was ringing when it was inside the case... Then the Company contacted me, and as it turns out - my item was damaged in shipping. The other one I ordered (i got 2) was a gift, and the giftee says that so long as the velcro front flap is secured tightly it works just as it should. She loves hers too.
So now I feel badly regarding my first review. The people as Ska Direct have been nothing but supportive and kind. They issued a refund as soon as they heard of my problem, and are also sending me a new case free of charge. You cannot beat that that kind of service! It is a relief to have this handy case - I can leave my phone near me where it is handy if I need it - but it won't be "radiating me" at such close proximity. Thank you Ska Direct! This is a great little item and very reasonable priced :-)

I'm a very privacy minded person, I'm working on enhancing my privacy in as many ways as possible. My wife sent me this thinking I'd enjoy it. I was very skeptical at first, I thought surely this little pouch wouldn't be able to block all the signals your phone sends on a daily basis, but it does. I gave it a test by putting my phone into the case and having my wife call my phone. There wasn't even a ring on my wife's end and my phone didn't make any noise. I thought my ringer might be off so I took the phone out of the case and had her try again, and sure enough I got the call instantly.

As some other users have recommended It's best to put your phone into airplane mode once you've tested that the case works, cause otherwise your phone will rapidly drain battery trying to find a network to connect to.

I'd highly recommend to anyone who wants to enhance their privacy. Just know when your phone is in the case you wont receive any calls. To some that could be a downside but to me it's a perk.

Works perfectly.

A good, inexpensive, measure to deter vehicle break-ins

This works exactly as advertised and has proven quite durable. I'm not using it for a cell phone, though pretty much any recent cell phone would fit, but rather as protection for Passive Keyless Entry and Start (PKES) car transmitters. (Frankly, I'm not really sure why the average person would want to use it for a cell phone, as opposed to just turning the phone off, unless you're really, really paranoid. Cutting off the radio signal from a powered-up cell phone will cause it to crank up its own power output searching for a cell tower, resulting in dead batteries pretty quickly!)

In the last year, most PKES systems have been shown to have a critical flaw that's led to a rash of thefts from locked vehicles. In most of today's PKES systems, the transmitter in the "key" is actually quite powerful-- so that the remote control features of the key (door unlock, horn, remote start) can work from a substantial distance. The transmitter in the vehicle, which activates when you press a switch on the door handle, is very weak-- so that the key has to be very close (about a meter) to the door before it'll unlock.

Thieves figured out pretty quickly that a portable radio amplifier will boost the car's signal, fooling the car into thinking that the key is much closer than it really is. If your car is in the driveway, and your keys are inside your residence or workplace, they just need to walk up to your car with an small circuit board in their pocket, pull the handle, and the door unlocks. Not many cars have been stolen this way but anything you've left inside the car is "easy pickin's". Cell phone chargers and cables have been a favorite target.

This bag blocks the radio signal to/from the key perfectly. Place the keys in the bag and fold the top, and you can stand right up against the car and it won't unlock. And this bag is large enough to hold all the PKES transmitters a typical household is likely to have. Until auto manufacturers fix this situation, it's a good and inexpensive workaround.

Wish these were a little bigger but overall great product. I put my Lexus keys in these to protect from thieves using a range extender. Really does work, I can put the keys in the bag, velcro it closed and walk up to the car and it won't recognize that the keys are within range. Love it!

I have absolutely no idea if it works as anti-tracking or anti-spying GPS. I do know that my phone is in a safe convenient pouch. There is an area for other things such as credit card and money. I am one of those people that does use their phone on a regular basis. I have an Otter covering and know that it is safe. The pink is a nice shade and easy to find in my purse. It is well made. The Velcro is very strong. I am happy with my pink carrier for my cell-phone.

Solidly Made Bag---Velcro Fastener Could Be Better

This bag is solidly made of ballistic cloth and is about the right size for a medium-sized phone and I.D. cards and some cash. Does it do its job, of blocking radio signals, in and out? In my tests with another phone outside the bag, sometimes it seems to work and sometimes not. So I cut out a sleeve of aluminum from a thin, one-time-use cooking platter, to use inside, to boost the bag's shielding capabilities. The Velcro fastener does not hold very well and often pops open. It fits nicely and comfortably inside a pants pocket and its texture keeps it from easily sliding out.
