It has a hardened mineral crystal with sapphire coating. Trying for shatter-resistance and scratch-resistance at the same time I guess. (And cheaper than a sapphire crystal I suppose, too.) Does have a Swiss movement, however, unlike most Skagen watches. Presumably put together in Asia.
An elegant, quality piece for relatively little money. Comfortable and handsome.
And not Japanese named for those who care --- I do a bit.
Recommended. (Just don't take it diving!)
Recently, I cracked the crystal. I contacted them and sent it back for repairs. They kept me up dated on the watch. It took 2 weeks to get it back, but they didn't even charge me for it! How's that for great service? I'd recommend this company to anyone searching for a good watch.
Skagen make some really beautiful stylish watches for a fraction of other watch companies but can not find anything bad to say about this company at all.
This watch is so light and slim and looks very elegant.
Have become a Skagan watch fan.
This watch, a grey titanium bracelet watch, is much better looking than either of the other ones I have. It looks classier and the light really reflects off the surfaces in very clever sophisticated ways. Everything about it screams high-end.
The Swiss movement is smooth, though most admirers don't know what the difference is.
The watch is thin and light, yet durable.
My main regret is that I waited so long to get it.
