They are great with my uniform, great with jeans. Just about anywhere I have to go, they can take me! I think I had to replace the shoestrings, but other than that, they still look great, and feel better than barefoot. They have perfect support for my feet (and having had a heelspur, that's VERY important!) I'd have to say they are the best wearing pair of shoes I've ever owned, and considering what I've paid in the past for a pair of "comfortable" shoes, I could get 3 pairs of these for less and come out WAAAYY ahead.....lol.
I was happy to find them at a reasonable price, but upon receiving my new shoes I noticed that the material was not the same quality as my old pair. The leather was thinner, the rubber was softer and even the thread and stitching wasn't as heavy. I have been wearing these shoes for less than 5 months. Although they still look brand new, some of the stitching is starting to unravel and holes are beginning to develop on the sides of the shoes where they flex at the balls of my feet. At this rate I doubt these shoes will last a whole year!
If you don't mind spending $50 on a pair of shoes that will fall apart within a year, OR you only expect to wear them on occasion, then I would recommend them for comfort and style. But if you want a durable long lasting shoe that you intend to wear on a daily basis, try something else.
UPDATE (5/3/14): I've just changed this from a neutral and optimistic 3 stars to a very disappointing 1 star! It's been barely a year and I'm ready to toss these shoes. I'm an accountant. I sit at a desk all day. In less than a year these shoes have both blown out on both sides at the balls of my feet. You can see my socks! The stitching is letting go all over the shoes. Normally I'd be on my 3rd pair of laces before my shoes looked this ratty, but oddly enough the laces are still in beautiful shape. Total FAIL!
I use then as work shoes. I would recommend them to anyone.

The arch support was not as I like but with a added arch support they were fine. All my shoes I had a arch support for comfort. I am pleased with the product. Thank youPublished 1 day ago by Amazon Customer

These shoes were a great fit and feel at first... I hardly ever wear them and purchased them in mid 2015 and at first the toes started peeled off and then all of a sudden the sides... Read morePublished 5 days ago by rex van slyke
I have wide feet with a very high arch, these have enough room for my orthotics. Have worn these shoes for many years as they are the only ones that fit me right.Published 7 days ago by crazylady
