These have very comfortable memory foam insoles which I am happy to say do not contain the toxic microbacterial chemicals that some of the other Sketcher’s memory foam insoles contain (usually in the shoes designed for wearing without socks, so beware).
The arch support in these shoes is somewhat poor so I added my Dr. Scholl's semi-custom plastic arch supports. Problem solved. In case you're not familiar with these arch supports they are available at Walmart's pharmacy or wherever you can find a Dr. Scholl’s kiosk. You simply stand upon it in your socks while the machine measures your foot pressure and then recommends a specific size. I love these supports and wear them in all my shoes – no more ankle bone splints. I compared these arch supports to those sold at Goodfeet and they are almost identical but at a fraction of the cost. ($45-50 vs about $800.)
My arch supports last 18+ months walking at least 150 miles/month. However, the shoes reviewed here only lasted four months. The inner and outer appearance of the shoes still looked great with very little upper wear, but the tread on the soles was so badly worn they became slippery and dangerous. Most of my walking shoes last 6-7 months so this was a disappointment. I purchased these shoes again because comfort is of prime importance; I just wish Sketcher's used a higher quality rubber sole. The rest of the show looked almost brand new!
Something worth noting: DO NOT PURCHASE FROM A SELLER CALLED SHOEBUY. I wasn't paying attention on my last orders and they shipped directly from this seller instead of Amazon. These shoes are usually available shipped directly from Amazon; if not, you might want to wait a few days for Amazon to get them back in stock. It's worth the wait in case you have to send them back, plus Amazon ships asap. It took 2 weeks to get these shipped from Shoebuy. I happened to purchase another pair of shoes from this seller (again, without realizing it -- in both instances Shoebuy held the "buy box" which is the default seller when the Amazon warehouse is out of stock, at which point Shoebuy also raises their price a couple dollars). I received a defective shoe in this second order so I attempted to return the pair through Amazon’s website which sent the request to Shoebuy. The following day I received a private email from Shoebuy with return instructions. The email also informed me they charge a restocking fee of $6.95 on all unworn shoes not sold directly through their own site for ANY return reason, including defects. This is not mentioned in the description page here or when you place the order and it is contrary to Amazon's return policies, so do not accept this.
It also turned out the tracking number Shoebuy issued was untraceable. This became important when, after two weeks, I still had not received a refund and now there was no way to track the package to know if they received it. I emailed them. They responded they issued the refund upon receipt of my email but did not disclose the amount, even after subsequent requests, instead they directed me to "watch my credit card statement". Meanwhile, the refund status in my Amazon account indicated I was still awaiting return approval and a shipping label. After three weeks, still no refund so I filed an A- Z Amazon Guarantee Claim.
Update – a partial refund finally appeared on my credit card about 4 weeks after I returned the shoes. Amazon issued the remaining credit due as a result of the A-Z Guarantee claim. I got the impression Shoebuy would never have issued a refund had I not hounded them and filed a claim.
I am returning the vendor complaint form I received from Amazon in hopes Amazon will remove sellers like this. Meanwhile, beware.
I usually only review products on these review pages, but in this case it’s important to warn folks about a difficult seller which hopefully will save a lot of time and frustration for others. I have not deducted any stars based on Shoebuy's poor customer support. My rating is for the shoes only.
Bottom line: If you are looking for a wide shoe that provides plenty of toe room, offers a comfortable memory sole that cushions your foot, and you don't mind a slightly reduced lifespan on the soles, or the lack luster arch support, then this might be a good match for you.
I've deducted a half-star for the poor quality of the soles and another half-star for poor arch support. So, four stars for pure comfort with the addition of some arch supports, purchased separately.

Thanks so much! :-)
I did a review of the ones I bought, Skechers Sport Men's Equalizer Game Point Oxford, Navy/Lime, 13 M US , earlier.
My wife and I now own about 3 pair each.
These are great for old feets, are stylish, and don't look like "old people" shoes.
Did I mention how comfortable they are? MASSIVELY comfortable.
We could not recommend more.
Longevity? That's still to be determined. Will report back if found to be short lived.
