Help describe what I am going thru. I'm 5'10" without the shoes on. I am flat footed weight is 210 and narrow skinny foot.
If I can get past how heavy they are I might keep them. I was wearing addidas boost 1 sneakers. Which actually weigh .8. So it's a hard transition.
Good luck. Hope this helps anyone.
These shoes unfortunately do not hold up well. The seems at the front of the shoe tend to come apart fairly easily. I have started purchasing a sturdier shoe with a single piece of leather across the toe. I would rather pay $100 for shoes that last a couple of years vs. $50 for shoes that need replaced every few months.
I bought these for my husband for work. They are dorky as can be, but he works in the service industry, and needed these specifically for two reasons:
small tread - he is a plumber, and these are apparently easier to clean so that he isn't tracking mud in and out of client's home (especially as he services some pretty high $ houses).
steel toe - these have the benefit of a steel toe, but are still breathable - not as hefty or hot as a steel toed boot, which is a must in hot texas summers!
over all, he hates the look, but they fit the bill and he is pleased with them
Well sad to say it looks like everything was made wider BUT not the steel cup protection. They seem to have only one size of steel cup and no matter what size or width shoe you buy it's the same small steel cup they use in each. Now I want protection for my toes but I don't want to be cripple for life by waring steel toe shoes that don't think about the width of people's toes being larger too.
It seem to be a well made shoe that could take some abuse but I can't ware them for more than a couple of hours before the steel toe cups have me limping in discomfort.
They no different than other makers.
If you're looking for more room around your toes look elsewhere and good luck.
