About the Author
Chris Nieratko was born in 1976 in New Jersey where he still lives today. His first job after writing for the seminal skateboarding magazine Big Brother was editing a series of incredibly disgusting porn magazines until he was fired for making fun of them. Nieratko continues to write for almost every magazine around. He spends the rest of his time managing his skateboarding shop. Skinema is his first book.

This writer is such a creep, he writes these porno reviews which somehow always leave out details of the porno itself and includes sleezy tales of his shenanigans with various characters. He is too funny though, and such a great writer. I can't tell you how many times I busted a gut laughing at his antics. Warning though, not suited to read on a plane, book cover will give dirty looks.

Great book, I had know idea who Chris was before reading this, but i Love his writing style. Its crude, yes, and of course there's a lot of sex talk in this tome... Mostly sex stories actually. But they're entertaining, and come off as true, which makes it a very fun, interesting, easy read.

hilarious! although my favorite thing about this book is how a maturing moral sneaks up on you and by the end of the book you don't really think the guy is that big of a jerk.

Chris Nieratko, sleazy devil of the delinquent sort, may want you to believe that he's "hard" (pronounced "haawwd") but his new book, Skinema, is at it's essense a redemptive love letter to his new wife. Skinema is a collection of short introspective essays that read like the most interesting bar conversations you've ever had. Interesting thing is, these essays are set up as porn video reviews. Tangenital at best, those "reviews" never really make it to the page. Instead we are regaled with Chris' numerous life experiences - any single one of which would leave lesser mortals dead or in jail. His stories take the reader on a cringe-filled journey from the depths of unhealthy relationships, massive drug and alcohol abuse, to the heights of self-awareness and protective possesion of the only good thing a prodigal ex-junkie needs, the love of a good woman (the kind that will at least consider a threesome). I can highly recommend this to anyone with a skewed sense of humor and an inner voyeuristic leer.

Disgusting, depraved tales from a complete jerk - that you do not wanna miss out on!

Chris Nietratko's book 'Skinema' is like a snuff porn-movie in writing, spiced up with bar-fights, various body-fluids, celebrity-guests and true love.
Nietratko tells the tales of his life in 4 parts;
- Sexual adventures
- Drug-affected misadventures
- His beloved wife and their life together
- Fascinating photos
Chris doesn't ONCE apologize for his horrible behavior, and I do mean horrible, but that's what makes the stories work.
He's not writing this to say he's sorry and regret his actions;
He just wants to tell his stories.
Tales so unbelievable they can only be true, and no matter how many times you have to stop, gag and ask yourself why the hell you're reading this crap, your curiousity will take over and keep you reading.

This sounded good, I don't think it is really. It has the same kinda stories that I've read in similar books. Seems like this one is trying to monopolise on the adage that sex sells.
