Skittles makes any treat that much sweeter. Here's an easy idea: crush up some Skittles, dip a few marshmallows in water, and then roll the marshmallows in the Skittles powder. Voila! A colorful display that tastes just as good as it looks.
Skittles Marshmallow Pops
Ingredients and Tools Needed:
1 14-oz. bag Skittles.
1 bag large marshmallows.
1 large bowl of water.
5 separate bowls (one for each flavor).
A grinding bowl or food processor.
A handful of festive straws.
A polystyrene block or tall glass for serving.
Separate Skittles into piles based on color. Grind each pile into a fine powder using a grinding bowl or food processor. Pour each flavor’s powder into a separate bowl. Skewer a marshmallow with a festive straw, dip in water, then dab on a paper towel to remove excess water. Coat each marshmallow by generously sprinkling or rolling in the desired Skittles powder. Prop them up in a polystyrene block or a tall glass, let dry, and serve.

So I took one bag home to try it. I grabbed a handful of the presumed M&M's and ... what a surprise. This was obviously not what I had bargained for, and I considered ditching this wrong purchase, but instead I figured I'd give this weird stuff another chance at some other time.
Do you realize that my mortal soul could _still_ have been saved, at that point ??
It was only in the next few days that the addiction set in. I found myself longing for more of that flavor when the bag was through; I wouldn't have reckoned at first, that I would actually buy many more of these bags on purpose.
Now my willpower has been eternally challenged. My stomach will never be like before. My jaw is numb from the endless compulsive chewing. And I can just feel my teeth desintegrating right when I take another dose. Why do I forever ache for that soothing acidic taste ? They're so delicious they ought to be outlawed !
Edit: I ordered this a second time recently. Just like the first time, which was several months prior, they arrived promptly and in excellent condition.
You get two 41 ounce resealable bags of SKITTLES, you may have seen these in the Wholesale Clubs or in the candy aisle at your local WAL-MART. Amazon is thankfully selling these themselve's instead of what was previously only available from 3rd party Marketplace sellers who inflate the prices by 2x, 3x, 4x or even more than what you'd pay in a physical store NOT including shipping/tax. Buying direct from Amazon offers you FREE shipping, $25+ of more purchase, or FREE 2 shipping day if you have PRIME, which is great.
Our Skittles were double sealed in plastic packaging within a cardboard box with plenty of air pillow bags. The two bags Skittles and thee Skittles themselves were in great condition and weren't expired.
Given that WAL-MART charges about $6.50 per bag so this price for two from Amazon is great since you don't have to go down to Walm-Mart or the Wholesale Club and feel like an idiot buying a MEGA bag of Skittles when you bring this up to the cashier.
PLEASE NOTE: These bags of Skittles are of the Gluten Free, Gelatin Free variety.
That was not the case. The bag I recieved was one with green apple instead of lime. I'm really not happy about this. >:/
I only bought these because they clearly show the "Original Flavors" in the image and naturally I didn't read further than the 4 star reviews.
Also hey if you're a fan of Skittles, so was I and I am disappoint...truly. I contacted them they said "Hey we'll tell marketing you don't like our new green-apple flavor. (Don't tell anyone but the secret ingredient is snot.) If you'd like your precious lime back you'll need to buy a bag of our new flavor. It's part of our new cross-marketing campaign to get people to try our lab accidents. Yours--Skittles."
Taste the rainbow of deception. Taste the rainbow of disappoint.
