Product description
GripCase Set Includes:
1x GripCase Body
1x pair of SnapGrip
1x pair of TriggerGrip
1x pair of PlusGrip
1x MAXCARRY Case (Black)
Three types of replaceable grips:
The SnapGrip is a basic set for the most players and games. And the TriggerGrip provides stronger grip force, it is designed for players with bigger hands and play hardcore games very often. The PlusGrip is designed for massive-hands players.
All grip sets are made of hard PC (polycarbonate) with texture on the surface, which gives players a similar feeling of holding a XB1 or PS4 joy-con.
Protection:
The GripCase is made of soft TPU (Thermoplastic polyurethanes) material. It will not scratch your SWITCH like the hard plastic does. Most important, our GripCase is easy to put on and remove, convenient for gamers to take the case off when they intend to switch between different gaming modes.
Hard shell carrying case:
The GripCase and the Carry Case can be the ultimate solution for your NINTENDO SWITCH.
--Huge Storage Space: power bank, adaptor, USB cable, headset, game cards, joy-con grips and even 3DS LX.
--Mesh Pocket Upgrade: you are able to put small stuff in the mesh pocket without falling. We also upgraded its material, using the 3-layer sandwich mesh instead of the 1 layer mesh. The sandwich mesh is 1mm thick, has 2 mesh layers with a sponge layer in the middle, which provides great protection to your console.
--Two sawtooth rails: using the sawtooth rails, the carrying case can be used as a stand for tabletop mode.

I'm not sending this grip back.
Yes, the L/R buttons are a little stiffer, but they wear in after a little bit of use and you also get used to them. Its less that they're stiff, and more that you have to press the button at a slightly different angle than the console itself. Its not a big deal. I haven't gotten any worse at Splatoon.
Yes, the Switch struggles to keep a docked connection in all three of my docks: Two launch edition, one bought about 6 months later. Skull & Co. says that the docking issues are caused by less space at the top of some dock revisions. I followed their instructions for a fix and I disagree. My experience is that the bottom of the GripCase is too thick, so the USB-C connector in the dock isn't being completely inserted into the console. In all of my docks, if I press down with a little force, I get a connection until I lift up again. That tells me that something towards the bottom of the dock isn't quite right.
So why, if other reviews are true, am I keeping this case and giving it four stars? Its convenient and it keeps my hands from hurting. I play Switch games primarily in handheld mode, even at home, and the GripCase makes that a great experience instead of simply a good one. Would it be nice to dock the Switch without taking the GripCase off? You bet it would, and thats why I'm detracting one star. But it takes literally 3 seconds to take the GripCase off, so its not a big deal.
If you mostly use your Switch handheld, you owe it to yourself to get some sort of grip. While it isn't perfect, this is a pretty good one.
Now enough of all that bad mojo...because you get what you pay for. The Skull & Co set is gorgeous. First the case is big enough for my Switch and tons of extras, joy cons, 10 games, cords, power brick (yes I said power brick) and I still have plenty room. Extememly well made love the zipper pulls have little neon blue and red skulls to match my system. Also the belt system to hold your Switch in place is extra comforting knowing my system isn’t going to slide around or have anything come in contact with the screen. Also the bottom has these notches/grooves in it so you can use it as a stand for your system. Great for table top play, will also be a huge hit when Netflix starts streaming.
Then we come to the grip with interchangeable palm grips. Again I got grips to match the red and blue of my system and again Skull & Co does not disappoint. Well designed and the feel of it on make actually playing the system more comfortable and more fun. I was pretty much a Dock Switch guy since I have big hands. Now with the bigger palm grips I’m rediscovering taking my Switch on the go with me everywhere. Thank God because I now have such an awesome case to do that in. ;)
Now - if you have an older Switch Dock the grip will work with it. If you have the newer Dock (like mine - just got my system in a little over a month ago) it will not fit. Supposedly there is a hack to make it work but I can pop the grip off in like 5 seconds and have it in the Dock in another 2 seconds so I don’t see the point of doing something that might void my warranty.
Anyway yes it’s expensive - currently $50 but you got to remember if you have your Switch, extra pair of Joy Cons, 5-6 games your already toting around over $700 in gaming equipment and games....is $50 a lot to protect all that???Also if you are going to end up paying $35-40 for some hit or miss products, you might as well pony up the extra “ka-ching” because it’s so well worth it and the last case and grip you’ll ever buy.

The carrying case is solid, and has more than enough space to carry everything that you might need for a portable experience. The comfort that the grips offer, over simply clasping onto the joycons themselves, are also a night and day difference, for the better.
But, here is why I returned the items. It feels cheap, and caused a lot of unexpected issues.
The case is made out of a soft, flexible plastic. This means that when you are playing, it shifts and bends ever so slightly, which I found to be incredibly distracting. It is also not flush with the controllers either, so there was a slight lip which dug into my hands after a while.
I would also mention that whilst I have heard a lot of people mentioning how they had trouble with the L and R buttons being a little stiffer, my main issue was that when I tried to turn down the volume, it would also press on the power button, putting the Switch to sleep.
And whilst my switch dock would allow me do dock the console with the case on, it felt like a really, really tight fit, and I didn't quite trust that it wouldn't scratch the screen up, like I have seen a few people report.
Honestly, this feels like a great first step. A first generation. A flawed gem. But not good enough, yet.
- Love the trigger grips
But
- Don’t love the middle finger rest point/ thing (the thing that makes it a trigger grip)
- if you are a perfectionist, the colour is slightly not accurate. It frustrates me
The biggest problem is that it does not dock well at all and it feels like you are forcing your switch into the dock with this on, it even cracked my glass screen protector when trying to dock it.
If you are a handheld only player this is a great grip case.
The colour is a bit misleading on here mind; the grips are more "ferrari" red than the sort-of blood-red / burgundy shown in the description. Not a complaint, seeing as this was the only available version at time of purchase I wasn't overly fond of the colour, so I'm pleasantly surprised that it's better than expected.
There are negatives however, hence no 5 star review;
The case is "dock friendly" which is accurate, but it's a very tight fit - Takes some manoeuvring to marry up the switch with the connection in the base, and you REALLY wouldn't want to risk it without a screen protector on.
With the large handle attachments fitted you also block the external USB ports on the dock; I've bought a 4-gang USB hub to plug in to the internal USB port so I can charge my controller and plug in my 8bitDO transmitter.
The rubber cover over the on/off switch also makes it a bit easy to accidentally turn off when adjusting the volume. This could have been made more flush tbh.
And finally a gripe rather than a fault... Why ship with all three handle adapters? I can *almost* justify adding the trigger grip - there may be some scenario in which a user may want to sacrifice the comfort of the large/small grip for a more situational use of the trigger shape handle... But surely no-one using the large grip needs the small grip as well? Or vice-versa?
I can only imagine it's a cost-saving and efficiency decision from Skull & Co.
Personally, the extra plastic is going in the bin...
Veramente veramente consigliata.
Tra l'altro i colori sono perfettamente uguali a quelli delle Switch in commercio. Spettacolo
