From the Manufacturer
Leaving an undisputed mark on critics and believers alike, this popular bud has been re-shaped, re-tuned and re-produced for true fans. Complete with Supreme Sound, the Ink'd 2 is a remix worth hearing for yourself.
Features and Highlights
- Supreme Sound delivers Attacking Bass, Natural Vocals and Precision Highs
- Flattened cable for style and durability
- Two additional sizes of silicone gel earbud sleeves included for a perfect fit
- Designed, engineered and manufactured by Skullcandy
What is Attacking Bass?
Most headphones' bass is either suppressed and muddy or exaggerated and boomy. Skullcandy's Supreme Sound “Attacking Bass” experience hits with punchy and powerful bass that's engineered for your music.
Natural Vocals
You have probably heard headphones with hollow or tinny vocals that sound like they're coming from an AM radio. Supreme Sound lets you hear warm and smooth vocals as if you were standing beside your favorite singer.
Precision Highs
Skullcandy engineers their headphones to produce clean and spacious highs, not piercing or muted highs like you've probably heard in other headphones. Supreme Sound delivers perfect highs for the final element of an amazing audio experience.

Edit: They did not last very long at all! I then bought a second pair thinking that maybe I was just too rough on them or something, but those broke after a month! The Ink'd earbuds I used to buy in the stores always lasted way longer than this!
-They sounded better. I feel like I got more clarity out of my old ones.
-More earbud cushions. My old pair came with like 4 pairs of earbud cushions, this one only comes with the one set.
-Price was about the same, but I felt that I got a better product with my old ones.
-Frustrating volume increase. This is by far the most annoying thing about this earbuds. Whenever they are slightly pulled out of my iPod's Aux. Jack (a few millimeters only) the volume goes up to full until I push the cord all the way back in. The slightest tug can cause this - even when I am pulling iPod out of my pocket to change a song. Maybe it is just my pair that is defective or something. It hurts the ears and startles me whenever this happens (only on my iPod though, my laptop is fine). I have tested my iPod with other earbuds and this is the only pair that does it.
It is also worth noting that the button on the left earbud is only to pause a song, NOT to adjust volume levels.
At this cheap price (Under 20$) you can expect better.
I use one for me and prefer it to my moda (better quality of construction but not better sound)
For the price it's a outstanding sound performance with a normal confort and use less power for the same sound level.
I also changed the ear buds to different ones that didn't come with these ones. The ones that come with these are kind of thin and floppy. So I used ones that came with my old earphones that are much thicker and more comfortable. It's definitely a plus that these are lightweight since I like to workout & sleep with music on.
Just like alot of people, I also wish there was a volume control on it. But for the price it's at, I can't complain. It's better than spending loads of $$$ for those "high end brands" (all of which unfortunately break eventually no matter how well you take care of them... I would know.) If you're looking for good quality, these are for you.. If you're expecting GREAT quality, then you're looking for something with a higher price tag.
