      I love/own several JBL Flip 4 and 5 bluetooth speakers. I have tried others but the JBLs are the best price/performance value (UE Boom comes close). I wanted to try a model that enabled pairing for truly separate, stereo sound. The smaller cube UE Booms and the Sonos are among several brands that can do that.... so I caved and got these on impulse when they were 40% off for Prime Day. Individual BT pairing with your iPhone is a cinch. But stereo pairing was a little bit finicky. However, once you completed it they pair in stereo every time. I set them up in my office along the back wall about 10 feet apart, facing towards my desk and what a difference stereo sound produces spatially! I like that these produce crisp mids and highs as most of my music (in office) is mellower - from classical to jazz to coffeeshop vocals. They do great with rock and blues as well. I dislike the (all-too-frequent) muddied sound of bass-heavy speakers and these are not like that. And they sound terrific, even at higher volumes. The one dislike (and it's a biggie - almost warranting a reduction in stars) is how incredibly loud the "power on" sound is when you first turn them on AND when they pair in stereo. People 3-4 doors down the hall can hear them and there is Nothing you can do to mute that. I don't know why BT speakers insist on doing that loud "launch" tone every single time (JBL is just as guilty though slightly quieter, still way too loud). Note: these use the newer USB-C cables (same as newer iPads and other devices). Each comes with a cable but no power "cube" to plug into an outlet. Fortunately most of us have plenty of cubes by now.

      Okay so I'll start out with my one (only 1!) complaint. The charger cord that came with the speaker is this weird little flat USB dongle that doesn't fit into any normal USB ports (see other reviews that mention this). Easy fix though because the port on the speaker itself is a USB-C input and I have a million USB-C cords. So no worries there.

      Now for all the GOOD STUFF.

      Size: small but MIGHTY. The speaker doesn't feel like it's flimsy or easily breakable. It's hefty but not *too* hefty. It clips right onto my bag and is so nice and portable.

      Sound: again, this thing is small but mighty. The sound quality is great. The bass levels are just right, and it seems to handle the highs and lows just as well as any other portable speaker out there. I like that it has speakers on both the front and the back, so the sound gets distributed really well.

      Price: for $10 cheaper than its biggest competitor (not naming any name brands here), this thing was a home-run for me. Plus I'm a sucker for anything Skullcandy!

      Waterproof: As with any electronic device that claims it's waterproof, I'm not going to risk testing that until an unavoidable accident occurs. If such an event does happen, I'll come back and update this review with the results. It's gotten splashed a little bit while I've been out kayaking, but nothing to truly "test the waters" (see what I did there?)

      And saving the best for last, BATTERY: I don't know how this thing hasn't died yet, but I've been using it almost every day since I got it (about a week and a half ago), and each time I've used it has been for about 4-5+ hours per use—probably about 30ish hours total— I just checked the battery life and it's still at 90%. Insane!

      If you're on the fence about purchasing, just do it!!

      I like this speaker, when it works right, the sound is solid and strong. I use them almost exclusively as a stereo pair and in this mode, they can sometime be very finicky. The sound can be distorted and one of the channels may drop out from time to time. I've found that if they are powered on in a certain way (not at the same time, and the main speaker is powered on first) they tend to connect to each other with a much more robust and trustworthy connection. If they connect well, they will play as a stereo pair for hours without any problems. The speakers "remember" if they are a wirelessly paired and re-pair automatically when powered on, when they are having a really bad pairing day, I've found that if they are un-paired powered off and re-paired AFTER connecting one of them to your device, they tend to work out their issues and play well together. I think a firmware update would probably fix these issues. I'd buy again.

      La bocina esta perfectamente venia bien empaquetada venia de un vendedor extranjero (usa) todo bien sin ningun problema, no esperaba mas de esta bocina obvio por el tanaño no exigas graves potentes, facilmente tu con el ecualizador de tu telefono o uno de terceros puedes configurarlo a tu gusto y si mjora significativamente pero la bateria dura un poco menos, es ideal para exteriores o para interiores que estan con amigos y quieren escuchar musica con amigos, realmente me considero fan de la marca ya que tengo algunos otros productos de la marca y como es siempre tiene muy buenos materiales de construccion sinceramente no esperaba mas por esta bocina
