Enjoying Imaginators a lot. It's better than I had previously expected. Getting to play as Crash Bandicoot on the PS4 is such a blast, the developers did amazingly well adapting Crash into the game, from adding the TNT boxes, the rolling boulders, Aku Aku and having all of Crashs' moves plus some new ones.

All in all, this is a great hold over until the remakes of the original first three Bandicoot games are released and it's fun to play.

Writing both on my own behalf and that of my 7 year old son...

He loves the game because of the build your own character game mechanism and the new piles of levels to smash through with them.

Surprising to me, this Crash Bandicoot/NeoCortex special edition set sparked an interest in him, and delightful memories of my own, for the original Crash series, which we've been able to get and play on our PS3... We're both now counting the days until the release of the "remastered" trilogy version comes out.

Well played, Activision... Well Played.

My one gripe and 1-star docking is mostly because this feels like a "side-story" edition in the over-all Skylanders Universe of games. Almost like an alternative pitch for Skylanders: TrapTeam... It's portal is basically a SwapForce portal and the game doesn't have any acknowledgement of the TrapTeam or SuperChargers peripherals or game enhancements as far as we could tell. At least in SuperChargers, the portal/parking deck also had a Trap Crystal port and speaker. It's indicative of Activision's hopscotching of Skylanders releases between two development teams (both excellent game dev crews, no question). The problem is that what Skylanders needs right now isn't another gimmick NFC toy "update" but some love to the larger Skylanders universe. Look at the evolution of the Mario or Zelda or FF games... Yeah, there's a lot of repetitive patterns there, but they also come up with fun ways to expand both the play AND the story in their respective universes.

In some ways this feels like a committee decision where the problem-statement was: "How do we get our core audience to come back from their Minecraft binge?" And then they spun-off a "tiger team" with the SwapForce dev kit and some beta code from TrapTeam and this was the result.

All THAT said, I still think it's a great game and, in many ways, I like it more than TrapTeam's execution, to be honest.

Still leaves me thinking things like: what about 4-player mode? Maybe, multi-portal awareness? How about a MMO expanded universe where Skylander "Ka Tets" could play through multiformat missions in unique and overlapping CYOAdventure-style story evolutions? Skylanders Olympiad Party games?

Hopefully, the Skylanders universe holds some of that in its future... It's such a rich menagerie of characters, just needs some room to breath and expand.

Another installment is here. Serena like I just spent the better end of a mortgage payment on these darn things, but just as sure as tax season, black Friday and Birthdays, it is September and Activision wants their money. Every year for for years a new group of these little guys hits the market. I have to say the game play is the most sophisticated to date, as they put a significant amount of content into this one. I have not tried my trap crystals with it, but normal guys did prove to be forward compatible as advertised. Making my"own" Skylander proceed to be very easy and although there are a ton of variants to make, it feels like it somehow could be more fulfilling if there was more to it. What they could add to make it more fulfilling is harder to pinpoint, but they did do a great job this round with the imaginators.

This Skylanders game is nothing amazing, it can be boring if you want to play with your children or as an adult but as a Skylanders game it does the job right and can entertain your children and find some form of use for physical toys but is not a big thing. Now if you came for the Crash Bandicoot figure it is nice to have him back but it works as any other skylander and its nothing special, probably just a to see something new for crash which is nothing great just okay to see, so if you want to have something to entertain your children with go ahead, if you do it for crash, is not a big deal the remasters are better and to have a nice time i think you better get other games.

ついにあの面白かったクラッシュが帰ってきました。これこそ真の「クラッシュバンディクー６」です。めざめのビーチから始まり、ジャングル、遺跡、大岩、原住民、強制オクスクロール、きけんなつりばしなど1,2をリスペクトしたステージ、操作性も5までのクラッシュに近く、近年別ゲーとかした6,7作目のタイタンズシリーズ(日本未発売)とは違い製作者のクラッシュへの愛が感じられる作品になってます！近年のクラッシュに失望してる人はぜひプレイしてみてください、やっとクラッシュが帰ってきたと感動すると思います！残念ながら今回も日本未発売ですが海外版でも日本のps4で動きますし、全編英語ですがアクションゲームなので日本語字幕がなくても問題なく遊べます！クラッシュファン必見です！
