Kids enjoy this game and set up very much. The power pad is connected to game console, characters can be brought into and out of game. I’m uncertain if there are other characters that can be used to play this game. Kids enjoy it....it’s entertaining for them, seems to be ok, however, they do ‘kill’ or ‘defeat’ monsters and bosses throughout the game. One of the characters, the main villain can talk a lil crazy as he tries to boast using the occasional “moron”, “idiot”, etc. to talk about his own villains. Other than that, I like the game for the kids, teaches fantasy, troubleshooting, and some hand/eye coordination.

Our foster child got a PS4 Christmas 2018. He had Skylanders for the Wii. So this year he asked “Santa” for a new sky landers for his ps4 and guess what? Yep that’s right “Santa” brought it to him for Christmas 2019. Now the Easter Bunny, Birthday Cake and so on are going to start adding to his set!

Exactly as expected. The package came with the game disc, portal, 2 figures and a special crystal to create your own character. My kids played this today and everything worked without issue. Our other older characters still seem to work on this game system too so that's great. Would definitely recommend.
