We purchased this for our sons and ourselves, as we play the game with them as well. As many of the other buyers mentioned, the Pumpkin Eye Brawl does not show up any differently in the game. He is in all honesty, more for collectors who like to have the different styles and editions. My husband and I are ones which like to have the different ones.

For us, having Pumpkin Eye Brawl show up as normal was a bit disappointing but perfectly fine with us. The kids still love the character as well. His bottom does glow in orange instead.

Unless you collect the different types and were wanting a special one to appear in the game, do not buy this one. Many of the special edition Skylanders appear normal in the game.

Whether or not it was fair of Activision to do so, this is just in line with all the special colorings of their Skylanders figures. I have one of the glow in the dark Sonic Boom characters and the all red "unpainted" Drill Sergeant and both of them show up normally in the game. Special repaints like this are really just for collectors who want to display the different variants on a shelf.

My grandsons were very excited to get eye brawl. I ordered pumpkin head at the request of my 7 year old grandson. He was a little disappointed that the head of this on the screen was not ant different than the original. They still had a lot of fun with this but just know going in that it will not have the an orange head on the screen. The figure itself does however does. This is one of the boys favorite characters .

His stats are the same in game and on the playing card, and his eye looks exactly the same in game as the original.
