Long ago, Sonic Boom took refuge high atop a mountain peak in the far reaches of Skylands, hoping to keep her griffin hatchlings safe. But despite her precautions, a devious wizard tracked her down and placed a wicked curse on the griffin eggs. Once hatched, the young hatchlings can live for only mere moments before they magically return to their shells... only to be hatched again in an endless cycle. Wanting to prevent such evil from happening to others, Sonic Boom joined the Skylanders and has trained her young to defend Skylands each time they are hatched.

She has a powerful breath attack that blows smaller enemies away, and stuns bigger enemies.
I prefer more variety than one attack to rely on, but it's kinda fun to launch her babies out to attack.
Either hit enemies with an egg for decent damage, or let it hatch and have the baby attack with minimum damage.
The babies do a great job of distracting enemies too, so they can relieve some pressure if you're hurting.

My son loves the Skylanders toys. At this point, we have most of them, so we were completing our collection when we were buying Sonic Boom. The figurine, like all of them, are well made and of good quality. Sonic Boom is definitely one of the weakest and least interesting characters. If you are looking to just get any of the Air Skylanders, I would recommend Whirlwind, Wornado, or Lightning Rod over Sonic Boom. In other words, get him if you are filling your collection, but he is not the best of the Air...

I got this for a good price and it save me a trip going to the store. I wish I came up with the Skylanders game what a racket! Can't beat the game or access all the levels unless you buy more characters. Fun game to play my son doesn't really have the patience for it.

Sonic Boom's my favorite (I'm the mom)! My kids also really like her too, and my daughter LOVES her babies!!! They are the cutest little things and really help out when it comes to attacking the "bad guys". Although my son really like her, I think she's a great Skylander for a girl who might not be too into the game. It's nice having some female characters :).

First off, if the price of the item is anywhere above $8, don't pay it. You're being ripped off. Either wait until Amazon gets some back in stock or go to your local store and find it there.

Anyway this Skylander is one of the best out of all of them. If you can only afford a few Skylanders and want to complete the game as fast as possible, get this Skylander.

My son loved this. Since this game came out you can go to any store and all you will find are empty shelves. I dont understand how no one can keep these in stock. So it appears Amazon is the only way to go. But glad I did!

I think we own about 10 characters right now and Sonic Boom is right at the top of our list. For a purchase is hard to beat an Air Skylander, which is already difficult to get, who can fly, blast, and make mini-clones who attack. If you are buying add-on characters, this one is a must right now.
