Skylanders is a great game and is easily playable for kids of all ages, even kids at heart. We had just gotten Dragons Peak in the mail today from Gamestop and were missing Wham Shell. I was, like many others, unwilling to pay the poachers premium of all the third party sellers on Amazon. My patience won out as I was able to get Wham Shell ordered on here at the 8.99 price during the last in stock burst. Have patience, check the site often. I have heard that Wham Shell had been back ordered until the first of June so now is the perfect time to watch his order page like a hawk as more will be pushed into the channel. Shame on all the third party vendors for trying to take advantage of the short supply of this great toy. I will not be purchasing anything from any of them and I suggest you do the same. I know Amazon is trying to make products available as best they can but they should also try to make it very clear when the product is coming from a third party. Some could easily confuse that and think it is Amazon charging these prices.

I spent a lot of time looking for this Skylander for my kids in the local stores. Unfortunately, it was never to be found. I dont know if this was an intentional thing by Activision to create demand and drive parents crazy or what. When it became the last one our neighbor and my kids needed I decided to check Amazon to see what they had. I was able to get them for $20 a piece. Sure, its a bit more than retail would be, I was not finding it at the local stores and had to pay the "scalper" fee as I am a bit of a completionist. If thats not you then this Skylander doesnt bring anything to the table that you cant get from one of the other water element Skylanders.

After spending several months trying to locate this item in stores I gave up and ordered it on Amazon. It had been impossible to locate this on in Toys R Us, Walmart, Game Stop, Kmart and Target. I was very please when it arrived new and undamaged in the box. Now my collection of Skylanders is complete. The only thing about this Skylander that I do not care for is how flimsy the arms and legs are connected to it. Of all the 32 Skylanders this is the only one that I would be concerned with breakage from an accidental drop. All of the other Skylanders are very well made and do not have what I consider to be a design over sight.

The day after I ordered this Toys r Us got a bunch in. I have two 6 year old boys though and they dont share so everyone is happy in the end. Plus I am sure one of them will get launched across the room at some point. The product was exactly what I ordered and came really quick. This game can keep 2 6 year olds and a 4 year old boy quiet so worth getting the set.

I ordered this for my nephew as a Christmas gift since this was the main item that he wanted Santa to bring him. Per my nephew "this is the best Skylanders character ever" as he can do a lot more than some of the other characters. Although I felt it was a bit pricey, this character is extremely difficult to find since it's a few years old. My only feedback was that although the seller showed that they had this in stock when I purchased it, it arrived later than I had expected compared to my experience with other purchases made from Amazon.com.

My two grandsons are into SKYLANDERS big-time right now! They are very informed as to which ones they have and which ones are still out there. I got this one - Wham-shell - very soon afrer ordering, which is always nice. This particular Skylander was quite expensive, though, which is not nice. I don't know why it would be about twice the cost of others similar.

Wham-Shell is one of the newest releases for Skylanders, and the final Water Element character. Apparently, he was released in Australia first, and has just recently popped up in a few states.

Parents: if your kid is looking for Wham-Shell, don't go hunting in the store, and absolutely do not succumb to buying it on ebay. Get the preorder here (or buy it when it comes up), and you'll save yourself the trouble.
