Skylands is in peril! Kaos has unleashed his most evil weapon yet – the Doomstation of Ultimate Doomstruction. With all of Skylands on the verge of collapse, a special team called the SuperChargers has been assembled to pilot an unstoppable fleet of incredible vehicles. Now you and the SuperChargers must embark on epic adventures over land, under sea, and through the sky to stop Kaos and save Skylands!

Who are the Dark Skylanders? While on a special mission, a team of Skylanders discovered a secret lair where Kaos was experimenting with a new discovery - Petrified Darkness - which he intended to use to take over all of Skylands! In the fight to stop Kaos, the lair exploded, releasing a cloud of pure Darkness! The Skylanders knew they could not let it escape, so they absorbed the dark energy, transforming them into dark versions of themselves. Fortunately, Spyro had learned to tame the darkness within him long ago. My son LOVES Skylanders, it's kind of his "thing". He has all of the games. So far the Skylanders SuperChargers Dark Edition Starter Pack has been ok. Came on time, packaged well, and everything is exactly as expected. The only thing is, my son doesn't seem to like this one nearly as much as the others. He loves the vehicles and was extremely excited about the game but he quickly played through the game using the characters and vehicles included in the package(he did not complete all available content, just played through the basics of the game), and now seems incredibly bored with the game. Even after buying him more characters and vehicles for the game, he has little interest in this one. He still plays all of the previous games, it's just this one seems to not be as engaging as the others which was totally unexpected. I figured with my son's love of cars, etc and Skylanders that this would be the "everything" game to him. So I'm a little disappointed, but that doesn't mean that there is anything wrong with the game necessarily. Bottom line, the SuperChargers Dark Edition Starter pack is as advertised and if your child is into it then I recommend giving it a go. I'm sure there are plenty of other children who think this is the greatest game ever.

This is a great product, but if you already have the regular Super Chargers starter pack, DO NOT GET THIS. The portal and game are the same for super chargers dark and the regular super chargers, so it's not worth the price. You'd be paying this price just for the different poster and different skylanders.
