My son and I have been playing Skylanders SuperChargers almost every night since we got this. It is a brand new story line and now the Skylanders can drive vehicles. Of course, I am now into the game for another $200 or so since we had to buy all the extra characters, Skylanders is the gold standard in these types of games.

We were late to the Skylanders party, but have been steadily working to build my 8 year's old set. This has been by far his favorite. The vehicles are a nice edition, if not a bit more expensive because if you don't have all types (water, air, sea), you can't play in all parts of the game. That's not to say you can't progress, but your kid feels cheated if he can't get to some stuff. So, we've doubled down on the investment. However, we really don't mind because he definitely gets our money's worth!

We bought this for Christmas during Amazon's Lighting Deals. I wasn't sure if my 10-year old son would like this or not and whoa was he ever hooked. Now we have to go back and get more - vehicles? Whatever. From sitting and watching him play I can tell you the graphics are colorful and fun for me to watch (since I know absolutely nothing about gaming but he seems to be having a great time.)

It's been a week and he hasn't bored of it yet which is more than the $500 Xbox One I bought!

The box I received yesterday had been opened from the bottom and won't close back, there are random pieces of tape all of the box , it's banged to pieces, corners are busted and it is a birthday gift that has to be given today. It looks horrible but unfortunately I don't have time to return it. I just hope everything in it works.

My 9 year old was thrilled with this game and has played it quite a bit. He informs me that he needs more of the figures, vehicles, and gems (?). It seems like these games are quite the money pit if you allow them to be. So, beware of that. Otherwise, they do spend quite a bit of time with this game. He says he's happy with it.

We have them all. I dread a new one coming out :) but my son loves them. Portal of power looks cool, characters are able to drive cars. The game works just fine, no issues at all. The only issue I have is the cost of all new figures.
The price of the starter pack on Amazon was great, though. Thank you.
