My son wanted this for Christmas. Ordering on Amazon.com was great and easy as always. Packaging and time to arrive was also great. The game and characters also worked great... for a few day. We had a problem with our portal (the platform you place the characters on). We went to the Activision website and completed the Warranty and Returns form about our problem. Within 4 days, a new portal was being delivered at our front door. Activision stepped up pretty fast help out with a faulty portal! The game itself is great. Lots of fun and it keeps my kids happy and laughing.

My 8 year old daughter has been playing this game non stop (when not doing homework and sports) since christmas. She truly enjoys it. I am not thrilled that for her to play more of the game, it requires me to buy more figures and traps. However, given the nature of the game and how the othe skylanders games are it was expected.

My little boy,who is 8 yo, loves this game. It is a Christmas gift that keeps on giving, a little sarcasm, as you have about a 100 figures to buy to play it. What's new from the original game is now you have to buy traps also. Good news, you can also use all the old characters if you have the original. We started with a Wii when the kids were 4 or 5 and now we have an XBOX. The figures themselves work across all game platforms.
