Product Description
Trap Team Trap Master
From the manufacturer
KRYPT KING
I''VE GOT THE EDGE!
The perfect blend of sword and sorcery
Krypt King wandered Skylands for years as the disembodied spirit of a knight - until he found his way into the depths of an ancient Arkeyan weapon vault. Upon finding an enormously powerful suit of armor, the spirit decided to make it his own. Unfortunately, this triggered a long dormant auto defense system. With alarms blaring, a massive sealed chamber was opened, revealing a huge army of war machines. Krypt King launched himself towards the attack force, swinging his newly found giant sword until every machine was utterly destroyed. Realizing the power he wielded could serve a broader purpose, Krypt King sought out the Skylanders and was made a member of the Trap Team, where he now uses his massive Traptanium blade to cut down evil!

Head Rush: IMHO, if you're looking for an earth type Trap Master and don't mind close combat fighting, Head Rush is fairly cool.
She has three attacks - the main attack is a head butt with those big crystal horns for pretty good damage, and if you hold the main attack button down, she drops her head and charges. Secondary attack is an area of effect stomp, and the third attack is a mid-range sonic "yodel" beam that is cool but leaves her immobile while she's singing.
All in all, if you don't mind close combat characters, Head Rush is pretty good. She's only medium speed, so it takes some effort to stay out of the way of enemies' attacks, but she deals out a ton of damage and has an interesting variety of close and medium range attacks.
Midnight Museum: Don't pay scalper's prices. If you check in regularly or look around your local stores, you can find this for list price.
On the other hand, it's worth it. You get three things:
(1) Knight Mare, the dark element trap master. She's not the most powerful figure, but she's really cool - both her figure and her in game play. She's a dark centaur with a giant sword, and her three attacks are (a) a sword chop; (b) drop the sword into lance position and do a joust-style charge; and (c) a darkness horn blast than when upgraded, summons shadow clones of enemies you hit with it. Like most blade characters, it's tricky keeping her out of damage, but she looks cool and the horn attack is something new, which is always fun.
(2) The figure to access the "Midnight Museum" special level. This is a pretty standard level, but hey, it's one more level, plus you get access to a very fun villian for your dark trap - Nightshade, a thief with invisibility and a pickpocket attack. (Note: apparently there is a bug that freezes the game if you put this level on your portal while your game is set to Italian - I haven't tested that, but if you're getting the freeze, try switching languages before you put it on).
(3) A dark trap. With this, you can use the dark villains you've previously captured, including Nightshade once you get him. (Note: You don't need the trap to capture the villain, only to use him or her, so if you've already defeated Eye Scream, for example, she's in your prison right now, and you can load her up once you get the trap.)
She's a good addition to my dragon collection, and the paint quality is good. If you're looking to use them in game, they act just like any other Skylander character, letting you play as them, and they're pretty neat and also cute.
