KNIGHTMARE "No Where to Hide!"

Before the destruction of the Core of Light left her stranded in the Dark Realm, Knight Mare was one of the Dark Centaurs who guarded The Oracle of Stones – an enchanted game of Dark Skystones that could predict the future. When it was stolen by an unknown force, Knight Mare was called upon to retrieve it. She knew it would be dangerous because if the Oracle was asked the wrong questions seven times, it would unleash a terrible curse upon all of Skylands. Fortunately, she found it in a cave – with a gang of Bicyclopes about to ask their seventh wrong question. With no time to lose, she charged forward, beating the fierce Bicyclopes and saving Skylands from the terrible curse. Now having joined the Trap Team, Knight Mare uses her hunting skills and Traptanium Lance to bring down evil everywhere!

This set includes Knight Mare Trap Master, a dark trap and the Midnight Museum level piece. Knight Mare is required to unlock the dark element gates in Trap Team and a dark trap is required to trap the dark villains in the game. The Midnight Museum level is fun but is a little short compared to some of the levels in the main game. I don't think it is worth paying slightly more than the MSRP for because at best even with the dark villains to catch, it will only add a couple of extra hours of gameplay.

My little man is a Skylanders fanatic. We are running about a year or so behind with the games - I got him Trap Team this past Christmas when Superchargers was the big thing - and I thought that would mean the addition sets may go down in price. Not the case. It's sad that people are taking advantage of parents by selling these expansion packs so high. I happened to be looking at the right time when an Amazon Warehouse pack went up for sale, the closest to retail price as I've ever seen it. So I grabbed that and I'm holding on to it for his birthday. Hopefully more of those pop us for others because the price it's listed at now is a huge rip off.

Be careful removing Knight Mare from the packaging - liable to snap in the middle. Not as well made as other Skylanders figures

Knight Mare broke in half upon removing it from the packaging. Both Knight Mare and Knight Light have a weak point mid-figure where you are likely to hold on to for leverage to get them out of their packaging. Even so, my son freakin' loves this thing.
