Item was recieved with packaging damaged and separated, but the figure itself was in new condition.
Déjà Vu is a very interesting character to add to the lineup, but is still a lot of fun and has a huge sci-fi element to almost all parts of her character design, including her backstory and attacks! From Time Rifts to Past Selves, and even Black Holes, Déjà Vu has more than enough shout-outs to time travel theories to keep avid fans content. She also carries a small hourglass with her right hand for good measure! The character designer(s) had a lot of fun creating her and it shows!
From a gameplay element, Déjà Vu has a very interesting skillset, but it mostly boils down into using the primary attack button to spam Time-Space Shots, which home in on enemies and objects alike. Another of Déjà Vu's unique abilities is that to create a Past Self, which follows and copies every move Déjà Vu makes, with the exception of jumping. If needed, Déjà Vu can also switch places with her past self, presenting new combat opportunities. Déjà Vu's last attack is to create a Time Rift, which does damage to enemies that touch it, and when shot at, turns into a black hole. Even her past selves are capable of creating a time rift! With a proper setup and use of all of her abilities at once, Déjà Vu is easily capable of littering a screen with homing balls of energy that KOs most enemies within seconds. And this is without going into details about her upgrade paths, which also reference her namesake.
Déjà Vu is an excellent character to play with, despite feeling at times a bit too repetitive.
