These are nice,m. They have a nice weight to them. There are small “feet” on them that keep them from scratching surfaces. They are hard to clean as they seem to be a bit porous.

I've been pretty happy with this rustic slate stone cheese board. It's a great, sizeable piece of heavy duty slate that'll give you lots of surface area to put meats and cheeses on. The all black look is great ,and is a nice departure from the more classic wooden charcuterie boards, but I think I'd prefer something that was actually a mix of the two. One of the nice benefits of the slate is that you can use chalk to write on this, so you can easily label your meats and cheeses.

For the money, this is actually a pretty decent value since you get a very sizeable, heavy duty board. That said, i does feel like it's somewhat lacking in included accessories. Doesn't come with any chalk to write with, and doesn't include any cheese knives or forks. So if you have some pre-existing tools this could be great, but if you're looking for a one stop solution, this won't be it.

This Cheese Tray is awesome - especially when it's a party or just two of you - it allows for you to write on the board in front of the cheese and other foods - so everyone easily knows what they are eating.

The finish is smooth, and easy to cut and write on.

I've used chalk markers on it, and it goes on easily, dries well, and is easily removed with soap and water.

Overall, a great purchase for any cheese lover.

While I don't plan to use it as a cheeseboard, I'm thrilled with this natural slate board. It's something that will work very well in photos for Instagram or otherwise. Slate boards work really well in flat-lays, but as shown here you can also use chalk and chalk markers to create artwork on them, should you desire.

Personally, I'm happy with the board as is, though buyers should note it has a 'torn' effect rough edge that is not fully smooth. A big pro is that it has soft feet on the underside, so whether you're using it for food or photos (or both) it won't slide around.

These charcuterie boards seem to be the newest trend, and this one is definitely unique. The entire board can be used as a chalk board, perfect for labeling things that are not visually obvious. It has little feet to keep it elevated off of the table top, also preventing any sort of scratching. The top of the is not perfectly flat so I was concerned with things getting stuck in the divets, however it is easily washed out and good as new.
