Already I feel anxious as I have to wait 2 months for the next Guild Codex, book 6, to come out in January and then book 3 of the Demonized series coming out in April. I'm not sure how I'm going to handle the long wait before I get more of Robin and Zylas. As I stated I'm so addicted it isn't funny.
If you haven't yet checked out these series listed above I suggest you don't wait any longer to join in the fun and excitement that you have been missing. These books are liken to Lays potato chips...you can't just stop at one. Enjoy!
I already plan to move unto her other books. By the looks of the synopsis, it's going to be as fun and exiting as this has been! It's a page turner and purely addictive! Looks like I'll be saving up for the author's other works. Yes, read on Kindle Unlimited. I keep checking Audible for book one. Knowing it won't to be available until the release date.
Wow. Realistically and HEAVENS!!! Didn't think a book character's disappointment could taste so bitter to bring me to tears! 😢
Okay, you're killing me! Having to WAIT until April next year for book three is like torture. Ughhhhh! How about book first; cover later? (begging here) 😉 💕 Having mixed emotions. Smiling while screaming on the inside! Will do text to speech at work tomorrow. Already worked through the day getting up twice. Only paused once (little annoying thing called life). April.. so far, far away 😢
I tell you, I was frustrated, kept on the edge of my seat, and angry that the author towed me around Hell's Half Acre to get to the end of the story where they are "Okay for Now". So many parts of the story had me panting, worrying, and wishing... I was fully going down the rabbit hole of "Book Thrall".
"What? It's midnight already? But they just found some vampires!" This book and all of the Guild Codex will take you by the throat, toss you around some, kiss you hard on the mouth, run you across the city, and put you away wet. Buy it, covet them, hide them away, tell your best friends, you have this book and the others and you will cherish them for a long time. Rereads all of them.

It really reeled me in since the first page , actually the cover did tbh (credit to that!) But the story got me hooked I just hope the author finishes the book quicker so I don't forget the story by then 😣 well worth it though.
We learn a lot more about Zylas' background and Robin's backstory - and are still left wanting to know more! I really like how you begin to appreciate their different patterns of thinking and how it creates lot of interesting misunderstandings for them to work through. The plot is clearly thickening and you can start to see how the story will entwine with the other Guild Codex series...
Also, the ending certainly steps up the plot somewhat! A whole new avenue of possibilities... And that's before the cliffhanger ending which is going to make Robin and Zylas' lives even more complicated!
