1.0 out of 5 starsKindle version doesn't work

While this is a very useful and thought-provoking work, I could not get it working on my Kindle. Most of the text was fine but the graphs had a kind of window-blind effect where white horizontal bars are added. Some of them rely on color, which of course won't work on the Kindle. The mathematical formulas are largely missing. This makes it hard to follow the text. Possibly the earlier version is OK, I haven't tried it. I have the latest version 3G standard size Kindle.
Michael Mann is currently suing Tim Ball, so I guess this book had an impact. He is not suing about the book of course, that would be too obvious. I heard Dr. Mann speak recently, and he is obviously full speed in reverse right now. He's back-pedaling frantically to explain why none of his friend's predictions have worked out, invoking all kinds of natural cycles to explain it all. It would be funny and sad except for all the federal money and work that has been wasted.
The physical theory using thermodynamics to refute the greenhouse gas concept is not mainstream thinking, even most skeptics subscribe to a version of the age old idea. I am not a theoretical physicist so I can't argue either way. But the argument is well made, and Tim Ball's analysis and history of the warmist canard is well stated. It is well worth reading even if you don't take the physics at face value.
It would be five stars if I could read it all!
