I'll start by saying this mask is fantastic. I love it to pieces and would buy over and over again because it's the best and most comfortable I've used so far. I do however have some things to say about it:
- It's not completely light-proof. If you have a smaller nose bridge like I do, you'll find that no matter how tight you put it, you will have a little bit of light coming in from around the nose. I did find that moving it so it sat lower on my nose helps a lot.
- The elastic wears over time. After having this for roughly a year, I'm finding that over time I have to tighten the band more and more because the elastic looses it's stretch and forces you to move the band just a little tighter to compensate for the loss.
- There's no place to tuck the extra band out of the way. Because of my previous point above, the more you tighten, the more extra flappy band you have outside of the velcro and it had a tendency to get folded and stick out quite a bit. It would have been nice to see a little band outside of the velcro to hold the excess and keep it down, similar to a belt for your pants.
- The ear plugs are total crap. Don't really cancel out anything or give you that full feeling in your ears that muffles all the noise.
- After a year, I'm noticing some spots of wear on the edges where the material is starting to come loose.
- Has a tendency to build a lot of lint around the edges, particularly the inside edges.
Don't let those cons deter you from this product though. I still love this and use it every night religiously. The padded interior really helps keep the light out from the edges and keep things cool. The band is thin enough that it doesn't cause any discomfort, especially for a side sleeper like myself. Plus you can adjust this thing to be really tight for you small headed people out there like myself. This mask is a bedtime staple for me and I'm contemplating buying backups of it for the future and travels.

Very cheap quality, falls apart within a year of use. The fabric is glued instead of sewed, so it detaches from the edges. I had to hand-sew mine back together. Disappointed. They need to sew it, not glue it, but it was probably cheaper to glue than to sew at the sacrifice of quality. Never buying one again.

However, the elastic strap leaves a lot to be desired. It has velcro attachments that even at the smallest option were too big for me. I cut them off and sewed the strap to fit. However, it hurt my ears. Either the top of them when I tried to push the strap above them or the cartilage when I tried to let the elastic lay over my ears.
Luckily, I'm fairly crafty and was able to fix this issue with some spare elastic and my sewing machine. The straps now go completely around my ears and don't touch them at all.
I highly recommend do this since the mask itself is very comfortable and well worth the money and time to adjust them.
