Great bag for keeping the unsheltered warm at night

So I bought this sleeping bag when I met a homeless man in front of Safeway who was trying to earn enough money to buy a sleeping bag. He had to have been at least 70 years old. Broke my heart. I came home and ordered this sleeping bag right away. It showed up 2 days later with a few other items I had purchased for this man and his dog. Luckily I found him the next day to deliver all of these items. He was thrilled for the new bag and warm gear. I saw him again just a few days ago and asked how the bag was. Tears welled up in his eyes and said it’s the best he has slept in a very very long time. He said he has stayed so warm and comfortable. Because of him I now keep an extra sleeping bag and backpack with supplies in it in my car to give to someone in need. I will definitely be purchasing more of these sleeping bags just for that reason.

These were not meant for extreme cold but they are adequate in temps approximately down to 40. I handed them out to homeless individuals and they are nice when paired with lightweight blanket in colder temps.

This sleeping is lightweight but warm. The double zipper allow me to open the bag right where I need it to allow air inside and the Velcro strap keeps the zipper from opening while inside of it to hold in body heat. I can even open the bottom to let my feet out or open it all the way to use as a comforter. Rolls up small and comes with a bag to make it easy to carry . Perfect for camping.

Sleeping bad and dead ants

I opened the sleeping bag and it was converted in tiny dead ants. Completely disgusting. I washed it and used it since I needed it and did not have time to purchase another one. The sleeping bag itself is lightweight and seems like it will suit the purpose but, how on earth did bugs get into a rolled up sleeping bag?

Needed a new sleeping bag to take my kid on a cub scout camping trip, as it'd been 30 years since I'd needed a sleeping bag. It serves its purpose: it's lightweight, compact, and held up through the night. I wouldn't use it in extremely cold temperatures but it was fine on a 50 degree night. It'll probably be used 5 times in the next 10 years so I'll report back on its durability in 2030.

This has been a great sleeping bag for its intended purpose, which was to watch my son’s lacrosse games without freezing when it was cold and/or raining. The extra materiel at the top was great to pull up over your head in the rain and pull down the draw string, leaving only a small opening for your eyes to still see the game while I stay warm and dry inside and I’m not blocking the view of the people behind with a giant umbrella. Only four stars because it’s not exactly waterproof because after about an hour in the rain, it does start to seep through, but we’re close to done then anyway. So somewhat water resistant is what I would say. Lightweight and decently warm.

When the package arrived, I had doubts that it would be thick enough. Once the box was opened and the plastic removed, the sleeping bag expanded greatly in thickness. Haven't used it for camping yet, but it appears that it will be a great lightweight option for setting up camp and should be comfortable in average temperatures.
