I loved GTA5 but this is even better because of the martial arts aspect and of course a Hong Kong theme hits home with me. The fighting mechanics has a bit of a learning curve but once you get the hang of it (and also learn the fight patterns for each enemy) it is unbelievably fun and addicting. Honestly i wish there was a mode where you just fight an endless horde…maybe a survival mode where you go round after round on one life and the face meter never replenishes
The story line is great too. One of my favorite parts are the names. Dogeyes, Big Smile Lee, Broken Nose Jiang, Old Salty Crab, Pockmark, etc. Hilarious! The story itself reminds me a lot of the Hong Kong movie Infernal Affairs (later refilmed in America as The Departed) as far as the undercover cop aspect. The voice acting is surprisingly good too but i mean…it should be since you have some pretty big names in the game like Will Yun Lee, Kelly Hu, James Hong, Lucy Liu, Emma Stone, Yunjin Kim, Edison Chen, just to make a few.
Give this game a try especially if you like martial arts or if you can appreciate some Hong Kong culture. You won’t be disappointed

Very entertaining game! I wish it was longer!
If you are a friend of martial art related games you should play that. I really enjoyed it. It is one of these games that I was really sad when it was over! It is open world and It has everything!! police, yakuza , learning new techniques for your character, drive vehicles, even boats and the last very important shop clothes! A lot of them! Costumes, suits anything you want! I highly recommend it!

This game is DEFINITELY adult so don't even think about getting it for anyone under the age of 30.
But seriously, this is rated R for sure. The violence can get over the top as well as the explicit references to sexual activities. There has been more than one occasion whereby I felt some tinge of nebulous guilt for having heard some of the dialogue in the game, akin to like, happening to land on some X-rated website and happening to linger there for more than a minute. Be warned!
Interesting sort of side note: for some strange reason you can at some point in the game acquire a GSP outfit for the protagonist that you control. GSP is what 'people in the know' lovingly call undisputed Canadian MMA legend Georges St. Pierre.
