I thought i would try this slime over the fix-a-flat i normally buy. I used it on a car tire that was semi flat with a nail. Thank goodness i was in my driveway and not on the side of the road since the canned air did not inflate my tire enough and it was not toatally flat to begin with. ALSO....it did NOT seal the small nail hole in the middle of the tire tred.

This stuff just doesn't work too great. I've used it in the past on mower and atv tires which works pretty good. However, on SUV/Light Truck tires they will not inflate the tire all the way. Really just a band-aid fix to get you a few more miles down the road. Wouldn't depend on this stuff for any long term or isolated area type usage. On one instance the slime did not distribute within the tire properly and caused a severe imbalance issue. The tire repair companies are not thrilled when they have to extract it from inside the tire to re-balance.

Love this stuff! I carry a can in the car, just in case of a flat along the way -- maybe even to help someone else out. But I also use it as a necessary additive, in my mountain bike tires, and my ride 'em Husqvarna mower tires. We live in Arizona, where cactus proliferates. I can tell you from hard experience what it's like to get a 4-inch prickly pear needle through a tire, and tube. (I have to have tubes in all "tubeless" tires, because of the environment).
I let out most of the air from a tire, put in a good shot of the green slime, and top up the tire to the correct pressure with an inflator. Then it's important to put a mile or two on the vehicle at a slow speed, to spread the slime internally. I've already taken care of a few punctures this way. Also, I'm now protected as I use bike or mower on the land. By the way, the product notes say that it can increase the life of rubber tires. In this extremely dry environment, that's important as well.
Recommended.

This is great stuff. I build fence for a living, and usually I am in the worst terrain imaginable (canyons, creeks, pastures covered in lava rock) and flat tires are a real problem. I run this stuff in all my tires and it stops leaks like nothing I have ever seen before. I would recommend for any vehicle going into rugged terrain. I would also recommend this to any prepper who thinks they will be using a vehicle.
Pros: Its great, you wont regret it
Cons: NONE

I wanted to remove the full size spare tire from my trunk to reduce weight. I decided to get one of these instead and throw it in my emergency trunk bag. This weighs 1.5lbs, whereas my spare, tools, and floor weigh 46lbs. I also have AAA so besides when I travel across the country there's really no need to keep that dead weight in my trunk. I've only used slime once on a Saturn about 8 years ago, and it worked great. It reinflated the tire and filled the hole no problem. I drove on it for about 1k miles before getting it plugged. Note: This slime is TPMS safe, so it states. However it DOES make a huge mess inside the wheel. My rims and tires are rather expensive so I'd be apprehensive of using this, I really only keep it for emergencies when a tow (or phone call) home or anything else isn't an option.

I have a whole bunch of hobbies. One is off-roading in dune buggies, quads and motorcycles. Out in the middle of nowhere, flats are a super drag...
I have tried all the liquid patches, and this stuff works by far the best. One trip out on a quad I grazed a very sharp rock, and it sliced a 2 inch long cut in the sidewall. I thought I was screwed, but I tried the Slime anyway. To my surprise, the tire held pressure for the 10 mile ride back to camp! Of course the tire was toast, but Slime got me back home.
Another great use is rim sealing on big tires. I have 24" rims on my truck, and over time was having problems with the tubeless tires leaking air around the aluminum rims. I tried the fix a flat from the convenience store, and it worked only for about 10 miles, then started leaking again. Had to take it into the tire shop, where they remove the tire from the rim and applied a tar like sealant to the rim. Took 1 & 1/2 hours and $45 from my life...
When my next tire started the same problem, I tried 1/3 a can of Slime. Problem solved, no leaks in 20,000+ miles. Even worked on the small tires on my commercial hand truck that needed air ever time I used it, and on the bicycles.
Slime comes in two application types. One is just slime in a bottle so you can inject it into a tire before there is a leak. It just stays in there waiting for an air leak to plug up. The other application type is their "Quick Spare", which includes Slime and compressed air in a can to seal AND inflate a flat or low tire when your out and about.
One of the things that worried me was if the Slime would damage my tire pressure sensors. No problems so far after 60,000 plus miles and 2 sets of tires.
Over time I have put a can of Quick Spare in all my vehicles. It has saved me (and my friends I have had to rescue) a lot of time and money...

I have a 2004 Suburban 2500 4x4. Tire was low - heading out with my small travel trailer in tow. Put the Slime Quick Spare Tire Inflator, and my small compressor/tire inflator and off we went! That was September 6th, and the tire is 100% fine now, October 3rd! I recommend this stuff without hesitation.

I bought this to use on my eBike and it worked great for a very small wire puncture, still holding after several weeks. Bike owners should note that the can says it is a one-use inflator meant for automobile flats. After the first use, I cleaned the inflator valve with alcohol and am hoping it will work again in the future. Be sure to follow the instructions because if you use too much or allow it to puddle in one place it can unbalance the tire.

Smaller than a tyre!

This is a lot easier than carrying a spare tyre. Fortunately I have not had to use this one yet but the price is a lot more competitive
than the dealers offerings. It is certainly easier than a long walk home or to get help.

The run-flats in my Works Mini were appalling with the suspension setup, so I ditched them and bought two of these which arrived promptly and stowed neatly in one of the boot storage compartments.
I like the fact that they do not damage tyres and the slime can be easily removed when the tyre is properly repaired.
I hope I never need them.
