Used to elevate the head and chest by creating an inclined bed, these ultra-sturdy medical bed raisers alleviate health problems associated with back pain, acid reflux (GERD), asthma, breathing problems and more. When placed under the bedposts or bed wheels at the head of the bed, the medical bed lifters create a gentle incline while locking the wheels in place. Special foam material in the recessed tops of these risers maximize friction and stability so it’s virtually impossible for the bed to wobble or shift when in use. Special rubber bottoms protect wood floors and also prevent slipping. The padded top holding area is 3" in diameter and 5/8" deep. The riser is designed to be used with caster wheels and bedposts 1-1/4" to 3" in diameter, if the bed wheel or bedpost is smaller than 1-1/4", we recommend Slipstick CB605 caster cup (Amazon product code B000QYCNJG) be used to support small or sharp objects from damaging into top of riser. Each bed riser can hold up to 500 pounds and are backed by our 5-Year limited warranty.
From the Manufacturer
These are a simple, inexpensive and effective remedy to a better night sleep. The incline also makes it easier to read, watch TV, or do other activities while lying in bed thus reducing strain on the neck.

These bed risers are the easiest way to add 5 inches of incline to a bed. It's a quick fix - just lift each bed post or wheel and slip it in the heavy duty bed riser.
WHAT'S IN THE BOX:
2 heavy duty bed risers for the bed head and 2 gripping floor protectors for the other 2 legs
Rest assured, these bed risers offer complete bed stability. The base of the bed risers are rubberized making them stable and protecting the bedroom floor.
Each bed riser cone supports 500 pounds maximum weight on each leg. So, the pair is guaranteed to hold 1000 pounds ... now that's reassuring!

These bed risers are a must have for acid reflux sufferers. Sleeping on a regular pillow combined with the bed head elevation with these risers would elevate the upper body 6 to 8 inches - effective to prevent reflux of gastric contents.
JUST REMEMBER: Eat smaller meals and wait at least three hours after eating before lying down or going to bed.
Hope my review and photos were helpful ... Jeffrey A. (Jeff)
The lifts come fastened together and you have to cut the plastic fasteners to separate the lifts from each other. The fasteners are "stronger" than they need to be in my opinion and it took a sharp knife to cut through them.
