I just watched Mad Max, Fury Road and couldn't help but think how similar the "Valhalla or Bust" whites reminded me of the ones in Slow Burn. I really enjoy reading these books and actually am in a better mood when I still have one to read or am in the process of reading. My problem is I read them too damn fast. I read the last two in the series in about 8 hours. Can't wait till #9. I also think the price for the E-Version is very fair.
Bobby stated that when he is writing one he feels like Zed. I feel the same way. It may just be me but it looks like his use of the dictionary has expanded since the first couple also. Not saying he doesnt have a command of it, might have been intentional, but either way I like the progression as well.
If I had any negative things to say at all it might be that Zed is almost immortal, how many times can they push their luck? Also that I would love to see Dahlhover in the future. I enjoyed his character as well. The only thing I found in Book 8 that made me say to myself, "Thats not correct" was when he mentioned the plastic needing to be removed from a case of Gatorade. Having owned a small grocery store in the past made me remember that they come in a plain cardboard case. Nit picky right? lol Well maybe Bobby's reading this! If so, grats to ya man. IMO you are one of the best action/apocalypse scenario authors in the game today. Absolutely love your work.
