Pretty disappointed the box was damaged, this looked like a kickass box set, as someone who is a sucker for campy 80s slashers. Also kinda misleading how the product image made it look like it had a slipcover, which, if it had one, my box wouldn’t have been damaged. I will edit my review if I can get a replacement because my review is soley about the quality of the item when it arrived

    With a title like "Slumber Party Massacre", you know you're not getting Citizen Kane LOL.

    With both movies being directed by women (which was pretty rare in a genre like horror, which was typically male dominated) they knew exactly what the audience was going to want (blood and boobs) and they delivered...although less of the 2nd in part 2.

    While part 1 was a straight up slasher, part 2 seemed to be going for a sort of Nightmare on Elm Street knockoff with the killer first appearing in the main characters dreams...although instead of a guy wearing a striped sweater and razor fingers, it was a guy dressed as a 50's style rock and roller with a guitar with a big drill bit in it.

    If you're looking for some of that 80's cheese kind of horror, I highly recommend these movies. Although light on plot, they do make up for it with gore and nudity.

    Picture and Audio quality were amazing.
