This is the easiest way to grow basil, by far! It's also so FUN! You get to monitor your baby basils from your phone. I went on vacation after a couple weeks and it was so nice not to have to worry about it. When I came back, there was BASIL GALORE! And it looks so happy and healthy. I made the most magnificent pesto ever (and I make a mean pesto as is) with these happy leaves. It makes me happy to look at them every day. The container itself is also so sleek and cute. It's something I am proud to display and looks fantastic in my kitchen. The wood frame it's in is nothing short of gorgeous. And you can control the lighting. I actually kept mine on overnight so I had a little light in the kitchen, but you can decide your own schedule. Also, the pics I added are AFTER I had already harvested. I ende up leaving them in there for a bit and they happily grew back. I cannot wait to transplant them and continue to use my edn SmallGarden for many more plants and veggies! Did you know you can add your own seeds to their plain pods?! Genius! I love every single thing about this!!!!! Don't think about it, buy one now! And grab one for a friend! GREAT housewarming, wedding, birthday gifts since they're easy and beautiful!!!

MOUNDS OF HAPPY BASIL FOREVER!

A great benefit of this garden is that I can easily start a variety of plants to transplant outdoors or in a pretty pot for gift giving. I have grown a wide variety of decorative plants, flowers, and herbs. Having fresh herbs available right on my kitchen counter is wonderful!
In the past when trying to grow something I haven’t always given the new starts what they needed. The Smart Garden solves that issue by alerting me on my phone when water is low. It also sends me growing tips to ensure that I have the healthiest and most beautiful plants possible.

I love how the app tells you where the plants should be based on how far along it's been with pictures and descriptions as well as opportunities for troubleshooting.
The sleek design and compact size fits perfect in our apartment and adds to the decor of the place. Our first round of basil came out wonderfully and we threw it into a delicious pesto - can't wait to order more of the different plants that Edn has to offer!!
