* Get the VectorWatch app on all three major platforms iOS and Android Phones.

It has the look of a traditional watch, while it is the top of the line of electronic watches.
On top of that, it is the only eWatch I know of that works (perfectly) with Windows 10 Mobile, besides the usual iOS and Android..
If only for that, it would deserve 6*!
some teething issues with app setup - windows phone, a couple of bugs in software
support is good
I have read up about backlight turning on low light scenario but that is yet to happen for me.
Summary : If you like value for money this definitely for you that is ofcourse if you appreciate a smartwatch that still keeps the DNA of what a watch should be..
So far I like this smartwatch. Don't love it mainly because the watch faces aren't white as Vector's photos have been retouched to show, they're grayish silver as they display is mono lcd, pretty misleading on Vector's part as the watch will never look like their photos. The only picture in the item description that is close to accurate is the video with the play button that has the watch in front of two phones with app pages shown. I presume all of their models look the same.
I am using with ATT Galaxy Note 5. Make sure if you open the app your Vector is charged and in range of Bluetooth. With my phone if the watch is out of range the app will freeze my phone trying to connect to the watch, have to restart phone and all is resolved.
Have only had the watch for 5 days but I expect the 30 day battery life is accurate especially if vibration for notifications is turned off.
My wish for this watch which may appear in a later update is flick of wrist to turn on backlight at night. I hate having to push a button to be able to read watch in the dark.

di smartwatch che cercano di replicare gli smartphone ce ne sono già a sufficienza
la qualità costruttiva e la compatibilità con Windows Phone/Mobile, Android e iOS con gestione completa delle notifiche, appuntamenti sono i suoi punti di forza
Firstly, it's very high quality. Unboxing has a high-end feel, opening the box by unwinding the string around a metal fastener, lots of foam and little evelopes. And the watch itself looks and feel extremely well made. My first reaction was "wow this is heavy", it has a good weight to it like a high-end watch does. The silicon strap is nicely shaped, and extremely comfortable to wear. My only gripe is the buckle is a little plasticy for the price paid, otherwise build quality is outstanding.
The enclosed USB charger connects magnetically and charges very quickly indeed. Get the app, follow the app instructions to create an account, sync to the watch, update the watch firmware, and off you go. Bluetooth connected quickly and easily, and has been 100% reliable in my first couple of days use.
Navigating both the watch and the app are easy and intuitive. The app itself is also quite classy, in black and gold, and looks slick and modern.
There's a few choices of watch face already on the phone, you can download more from the "store" through the app; it's not really a store as these are all free. Then set up the phone to look how you want, adding date, steps, calories, miles walked, calender events etc etc as you wish to your main watch screen. I've got mine set up to show the next event on my calendar, and all the other days events are shown as chunks of time around the dial.
There isn't a huge array of interaction with your phone, and this is where it differs from an Apple watch or pebble. It will display notifications from texts, emails, or apps on your phone. it will tell you who is ringing. You can't text or make calls from it, look at content on your phone, access the address book etc etc. But I like this. I can quickly see when a notification/email/call comes in just by moving my wrist, and see if I want to get my phone out or just ignore it. There are a limited number of "apps" that can display notifications on the watch such as BBC news and ESPN, the BBC News app for example will just give you the top 3 headlines.
It doesn't seem to drain battery on my phone significantly. And it's waterproof to 50m so can wear in pool/shower.
My main gripe, and what prevents 5 stars, is the fact that you only get 3 short lines of notification. So when an email or text comes in you cannot see the whole message. It would be brilliant if you had the option to scroll down and see it in it's entirety.
I love the simplicity of the watch, and the "basic" functions suit me. It's like a grown-up version of a smartwatch, more suited to someone who wants a decent looking watch, and doesn't want a mini phone strapped to their wrist.
Overall, I think this watch is seriously worth considering. If you want a full-blown smartwatch with full functionality with your phone, it won't be for you. If you want a really nice looking watch that gives you warning of emails/texts/calls/calendar events without getting your phone out, you'll be very happy with it.
First impressions are good, with an attractive box and a sense of theatre as you work your way though it to release the watch. It is supplied with a charging cable, which is magnetic like on the Apple Watch but uses contacts to connect to the watch instead of inductive charging like the Apple Watch, where you do not have to align to the contacts and just snaps on. It does charge up very quickly though and has an excellent claimed battery life, which I have no reason to doubt.
The build quality is excellent especially the classy stainless steel case with a black anodised finish and a good quality silicon strap with other options available. It is quite chunky on the wrist and while billed as unisex, it is more suited to men in both size and design. It is reassuring that it is marked up as water resistant to 5 ATMs, although I am still not sure I would have the confidence to go swimming with it on. The display in monochrome and quite subtle but easily readable, even in bright light and is backed by a subtle but effective backlight that stays on for 3 seconds when activated like a traditional LCD watch.
To use in properly you need to download the app which is available on iTunes and Google Play, although I have only tried the android version. This installed easily onto my OnePlus 2 phone and peered quickly with the watch via Bluetooth. This offers a lot of customised features including alerts, watch faces with additional ones available for no charge as well as the ability customise the behaviour and update to the latest firmware. Through bluetooth you can receive notifications of e-mails, texts, and updates to applications and this is via vibration and an indication around the bezel. This was subtle but worked well and was reasonably discrete. But other than this and the pedometer there is little functionality over that provided by a traditional digital chronograph. I am sure this has a lot more potential but I get the feeling this is still to be realised.
Then there is the price, while it does look impressive it is only a case for electronics and I cannot get away from the fact it is the same price as an entry level Apple Watch which offers far more functionality and features (although you have to budget for an iPhone as well and the battery life is poor,) including Apps, NFC, Siri as well as Apples slick interface and innovation. It was also interesting to note that my OnePlus 2 phone was also built in China and included loads more features as well as a solid build and premium feel and a cheaper price. So think of this as a stylish watch that offers bluetooth connectivity to your phone and you are a lot closer to reality than calling it a Smartwatch.
This is one of the new generation of "smartwatches" and the first of it's kind I have had contact with.
It has a number of features not normally found on a watch and for those interested, this will be the sole reason for considering buying it. If not, there are better watches on the market.
Firstly it comes in a very smart, solid box with a magnetic closure. Inside the watch is displayed set into an insert below which is a small box with the charger and warranty. Note, the enclosed warranty says 1 year however the outer card sleeve of the box and the Vector website say 2 years....strange !!!
It's a nice presentation that will likely collect dust on the shelf and not be used again but these days you need expensive packaging to sell such a product and also perhaps justify the price.
Before use it needs charging and this is done via a USB connection and a magnetic clip that fits on to the reverse of the watch. Charging is easy and does not take much longer than charging your phone. The status of the charge is shown (when connected) as a line which runs round the outside edge from 0% at just after the 12 to 50% at the 6 and 100% approaching the 12. The charge lasts at least 30 days and that I have verified myself.
Once charged you "register" the watch at Vector's website where you download the user manual. It is understandable this does not come with the watch as it runs to 27 pages.( Save it to your files as you will have need of it in the future.). Then follow the on screen instructions which will start with down loading the Vector app to your phone, setting up a user account and then pairing the watch to your phone. It is worth saying here that whilst there are several phones that are compatible, it is worth visiting the Vector website to check your phone is one before purchasing the watch. The minimum iphone is a 5. The next stage is to customise the watch by selecting which watch faces you like and what functions you want the watch to perform. You can select several faces and use a different one whenever you fancy a change. Functions mostly take the form of notifications from your phone - incoming calls, texts, messages, emails etc and you can replicate anything that sends messages from your phone. In practice your watch will vibrate, the convention face will be replaced with a few lines about the message and then return to the time face.
Fine you might think however there are limitations and even shortcomings to what happens...
1. If you keep your phone with you as most people seems to do, you will know that a call is coming in or a message has arrived so do you need your watch to tell you as well ?
2. You only get 2/3 short lines not the full message
3. the notification does not stay long and whilst it can be recalled by pressing a button, you have to scroll through many to find it....and then go to your phone to read it.
There are additional features for the athlete as once set up, the watch will keep track of training - steps taken, calories used, distance run and even hours asleep. It has timer functions, can set alarms, link with your calendar or diary and link to BBC News.
So, is it worth having ? Purely as a watch it works quite well, keeps accurate time and looks smart. Because the faces are dark it is not easy to see in poor light as the face is seen best at a slight angle to the light. This also applies to the message notifications. Charging is easy but every 30 days might become a pain. The link to your phone is useful but not essential - if you carry your phone with you. If you don't it's a different ballgame and if you are considering buying this watch I guess the link to your phone will be all important.
A big plus is that whilst there may not be a huge list of functions, Vector are continually developing new ones that can be downloaded to update your watch and the longer this happens, the more useful the watch will become.
There are many such "smartwatches" out there and I cannot say whether the Vector is better as I have not seen others, I guess only time will answer that but I would suggest you visit the Vector website on www.vectorwatches.com to look at firstly the list of compatible phones and then read the user manual to see if the functions suit your lifestyle and what you are looking for.
It's a nice watch but I think I will go back to my Rolex.
