This generation of the 150 Smartwool top is sized smaller, flimsy in construction and over priced. I logged many years in my older 150 100% wool tops and they have always been my favorite winter or fall first layer and have been durable. The new blended version is a joke, AVOID, maybe the manufacturer will listen.

The fit was nice. Not too tight and not too loose. Like advertised, it does keep you drier. The fabric did allow perspiration to wick away. It wasn’t as warm as my under armor base layers, but it was drier. The warmth issue is easily overcome with another insulating layer over the base. I will order more. Being dry when you come to a stop or when you get to work (commuters) is really important.
