There's also a size issue, these are fairly small. I get standard sized toothbrushes from Costco and they barely fit without the lid closed all the way so as to not squish the bristles. It holds the toothbrushes really well, you just have to make it work.
The colors shown aren't exactly the ones you'll receive so keep that in mind (I ended up with green rather than gold, which I'm happy about). Also these are shipping from China so expect about a month between when you order these and when they actually arrive. =)
-They're super convenient for bringing my toothbrush around. I have an overnight shift several times a week and the holder keeps my toothbrush from getting dirty in my bag.
-They openings for the eyes and mouth are not only cute, but also function as vents so my toothbrush can dry.
-They're a good size for most toothbrushes. I've gone through several adult toothbrushes and they've all fit nicely.
-The suction cups have held up nicely for me. I haven't had to replace mine yet. Sometimes feels like the suction is getting a little loose and the holder falls off the mirror, but usually cleaning the mirror and pressing harder fixes that.
The only downside is I notice it leaves a circular imprint of some sort (dried toothpaste-like substance?) when I take the holder off the mirror. It's easily cleaned off the mirror, though, so overall I still love these holders!
When they arrived, I was surprised at how small they were. I put them on the mirror just above the sinks, one for each boy. They are small, so not real noticeable when you just glance around. The colors were green, blue, and pink. I kept the pink :)
After using these for a couple of weeks now, everyone loves them. The toothbrush is easily secured and removed. It fits our regular oral-b toothbrushes that come from the dentist. The suction has not let loose once. They stuck the first time, and don't drop off when you attempt to open or close the holder. I'm impressed and am loving the clutter free counter.
Only "issues" I have, and I use that term very loosely:
Colors - would have preferred if we could pick our own colors (silly I know, but we got pink/purple/yellow and have 2 boys in the family)
"Depth" - I initially had a Colgate toothbrush that was just a bit too big. I had to turn it sideways within the cover, and even then the bristles would get bent. When I replaced my toothbrush recently I just made sure to get one with a compact head and it fits perfectly.
They are smaller than I expected, but that's a 100% bonus. Somehow I was expecting a cheaper feeling plastic - but not at all. They are small and perfect. They hold your toothbrush and are no larger than they need to be to hold the head of the toothbrush. You could stick these in a super high end bathroom remodel, and they'd look whimsical, but not cheap. Not at all cheap. They are cute and very small.
I have a pedestal sink, and these are way cheaper than the cost of a bathroom remodel! I mean, I'm only like 50% kidding. Not having counter space on the sink really is a huge hassle. These are great.
