Pros: Very sharp, and versatile because of the serration and regular portions of the blade. Pivot works well. Black looks cool. Despite the image, there actually is a very fine diamond shaped grip to it as well as jimpings. Good price. Ambidextrous thumb stud

Cons: Mine was actually had 3 "blocks" of serrations rather than the 2 you see in the image, this disappointed me as I feel it's too much serration. The back of the blade is plain and boring, makes it feel unbalanced aesthetically. The screws holding the clip in are way too small, making it virtually impossible to remove, something that is very disappointing to me as I hate the profile it adds. Handle is unnecessarily heavy. The liner lock can be confusing to operate for someone who has never used one before, especially when the instruction manual makes absolutely no mention of it, despite mentioning 2 different types of locks on other models of knives.

Conclusion: It's a knife. What you see is what you get, with some exceptions. Hopefully my review cleared up some of these exceptions. It's price is pretty good.

EDIT/UPDATE: After owning it for some time, having used it on several occasions, and comparing it with other knives, I have noticed that this handle is rather heavy and as a result is not as easy to swing rapidly as with other, lighter knives, so keep this in mind depending on whatever you need to use it for. That is my only major complaint and at the price I paid, I really can't expect too much. Other minor complaints: the pocket clip requires a very small headed hex wrench to take off and I did not have one, it is very hard if not impossible to remove it without the proper tools and I did not use it so I found that annoying, seriously S&W ever heard of a Phillips head??
