I ordered this for my son for Christmas. He had been wanting a smoker for quite some time. They go camping quite often. He has used this dozens of times and loves it. All the food items that he has cooked in this cooker have been cooked to perfection and with the best flavor imagined. Everyone who has eaten food from this smoker can't believe the flavor, and texture. Of course he experiments with flavors and different smoke flavor, but there hasn't been one meat item we haven't liked. He is getting so much use out of this smoker. I am glad I purchased it for him. A great Christmas gift for anyone who loves good food.
EDIT: I called Outdoor Leisure Products (Manufacturer) and it took less than 3 minutes to have a new drip can sent out!
Took a little time to build, though good directions, so went well.
Still learning how to use the vents, not much for instructions on how to use the airflow effectively. Same with the water and wood chips, though learning slowly with each use.
Propane style allows you to set and go. Looking for an internal therrmometer that will hook out outside the smoker until I get some more experience, hate losing heat to stick a thermometer in the meat.
Second smoke. Same results. I cooked chicken. Boneless pork ribs and beef fajitas. I’m using pellets that I moistened before heating. Makes a lot of flavorful smoke.
