Ms. DeVaney's Southern accent gives her a very distinctive voice and pace that slides into this book and everything else she writes. Her ability to create delightful characters and bring them to life is a gift. She writes a story, but under it is a deeper one. The one that sticks with you long after you've put the book down.

I loved the character of Tina. She was so out of her element when stranded out in the mountains with a handsome stranger. I had to admire her spunkiness and kind heart. Hank, a reclusive writer has his world turned upside down when Tina invades at Christmas time. Don't wait for the holidays to read this one. It will make you laugh and warm your heart.
