Fairly accurate title for this book; This is the Ultimate 'Reference' Guide for Secret of Mana loaded with dozens of helpful tips and advice to make playing the game (if you are brand new and know nothing about it) much more manageable. Everything from the basics of the game and it's controls, to character bios and an enemy list with strategies for boss fights, to weapons list for every collectable weapon and general advice for how to progress through the game. Nothing too advanced is provided or area maps included, but still a solid resource to pick up if you need assistance with the game or want a collectable.

This is a cheap knockoff that anyone who had played the game could print in Word themselves.

I have fond memory’s of playing this game on my SNES and now play it with my children on the SNES classic. This guide has a great overview of the controls, options, characters, enemies, weapons, etc.

The guide starts off with a history of the game. Then the controls are covered and basic game play including the various rings as well. Next are the character bios and then we move onto the long list of enemy’s and boss’s. Then we learn about the weapons and how and where to upgrade them. Spells come next and then some strategy, a world map and some majors events.

In closing, while this guide does lack a full walk through; it has an excellent description of all the things you will find in your travels through this game. It allows you to play through the game discovering the mysterious world and having a handy reference when you need it.

This is a fantastic, concise and very useful guide for a classic super Nintendo RPG. If you haven’t played this game, you Should, and with this guide. You will learn some of the history and some of the interesting trivia with this guide also. Find out how to optimize your three characters, Randi, Primm and Popoi for maximum efficiency. Learn how to use all of the rings and how to customize the controller to your own preferences. There are lots of beautiful color screenshots throughout this book to awe at. This guide will also help you figure out the best strategies for each character and give you all the stats you’ll need to defeat enemies. The boss list and stats are incredibly helpful to quickly defeat them. Use this guide to maximize your weapons and armor and figure out how to use all the different spells correctly for each character. The map is indispensable for navigating throughout the world. The major events section will help you if you get lost or can’t figure out what to do next. I finally got around to playing through this game last year on my Super Nintendo, and I really wish I would’ve had this guide then.
